| Quote: | According to Paul Gutierrez of CSNCalifornia.com, Davis said after the game that he thought heading into the season that the Raiders were good enough that they should make a playoff run, and he’s upset that they’re not even close.
“I’m patient, but I want to see progress. Not regression,” Davis said. “I’m embarrassed, pissed, disappointed and I take full responsibility.” |
If the Raiders continue on this pace, what changes do you see coming this off-season, if any? _________________

That, and some assistant coaches gone. Maybe even both our Coordinators. I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility. But I don't think McKenzie and Allen go anywhere. Not a chance. _________________ Bah-Weep-Granah-Weep-Nini-Bong

Mark must be dumber than his dead was in his last few years if he honestly felt this team was play-off bound in August. _________________

I don't wanna get rid of Tarver because I don't think we have the personnel to run his scheme. Look at Rob Ryan in Dallas. The secondary got better and his scheme looks really good. Regardless of the scheme the front four has been a major disappointment. Can't just keep moving coaches and hope the next turns it around. Agree on Allen and Reggie staying. They have had nothing to work with. John Lynch summed it up perfectly.
Knapp needs to go though. He's fine as a QB coach, but the ZBS has no future here with this team. Any other team would have demoted or fired him by now. Remember when Cable did? _________________

| Our lack of depth, and playmakers is why we suck. It doesn't matter who our coaching staff is we need better players. |

Who did we lose so great? Routt is on the street, Boss is on IR and Satele is injured. I thought we upgrade cb's and scheme. This defense is historically bad on defense, and our offense has lost it's cojone's.
We are worse because of DA and not better and it's easy to see. |

This team is playing like it's being coached by a 1st year HC who only had 1 year of coordinating experience coming into the season, a notoriously hated OC who has a failed career track record, and a 1st year DC coaching a scheme he doesn't have experience with.
The talent is bad on D, but the coaching all around has been worse. This is the worst 3 week span for any NFL team since 2004. _________________

Oh my bad I was under the impression that this team has different plAyers than last year. And that other teams did as well. |

Oh my bad I was under the impression that this team has different plAyers than last year. And that other teams did as well. | Ok but the core is the same, we still have Seymour, Kelly but the both suck because the our penentrating DT's who are being asked to hold gaps, just so we can have one of the worst run defenses in the league. Is anybody playing better than they did last year, anybody?
We saw when Hue showed up the Oline jumped to top shelf, along with scoring, which helped the defense to get better under Marshall.
Even something as isolated as special teams is worse every player is playing worse just about. |

Does anyone have an explanation for how the 1st half ended? John Lynch couldn't believe how poorly it was handled and neither could I. Dennis Allen looks every bit the part of a 1st year HC in over his head. _________________

In 2011 our points per game was 22.4, this year it's 21.2. Hardly a huge difference there. Also, since you don't realise but it's quite common for players performances to drop as they get older, especially when they are 30+. _________________
