Head Coach/GM Candidates

At 1-9, we find ourselves in a position that will more than likely lead to some people being let go. Most people believe that this means that Gene Smith, Mike Mularkey (and many members of their respective staffs) as well as several players (Gabbert? Britton? MJD? Jennings? Cox? Smith? Knighton?) will be shown the door. This all, of course, barring a fantastic turnaround to get the team to a point that they seem to be on track.

So who do you think are names that we should be looking at?

And Coordinators too, if you're up for mapping those out.

New General Manager:
Omar Khan, Director of Football and Business Administration, Pittsburgh Steelers

New Head Coach:
David Shaw, former Stanford Head Coach

New Director of Player Personnel:
Son of Khan

Shaw brings us what Jimmy brought San Francisco. We make the plunge into the 3-4, bringing with him past coordinators from the NFL. Shaw (played and coached under Walsh) was credited with getting Luck NFL ready (mentally and mechanically) as well as getting the Receivers and Backs to play disciplined football (oh yeah, they also have 4 going to be drafted this and last year).

Bill Polian for high front office spot. keep Gene, but adjust his responsibilities.

HC option if Henne project fails:

Alan Williams DC from Minn could be a solid choice from the Dungy tree. maybe he brings Jim Caldwell in as QB coach or OC? Other big names could follow too.

What's everyone think of Bruce Arians? He's doing a really good job keeping that Colts team together and competitive in Pagano's absence.
