Irs kind of crazy how fast Aaron Curry has fallen from graces with so many teams already so early on in his career, especially being someone taken as high as #4 overall. I don't get to see many games from the west coast, so during his Seattle and Oakland career its been hard to see much more than highlights and such.. what has been this kids downfall? Labeled as the "safest" pick in the draft.. what has made him so bad that he can't even stay on a roster? _________________

Surprised he hasn't gotten a call from Dallas - I mean we're starting Poppinga, Simms with Connor rotating in... it's ugly _________________

He's just not that good. He's alright in setting the edge, run support and sometimes blitzing. Alright, not good at those things. He's bad in coverage though and commits stupid penalties like personal fouls and unnecessary roughness. Not sure if its because he's dumb or what but those are some reasons. Plus he has knee issues that can't really be improved much and are only going to keep regressing _________________

He has a degenerative knee condition that is only going to get worse & worse for him. He saw numerous specialists & tried stem cell therapy, but it hinders his athletic abilities.
In terms of play, he's very aggressive. Maybe too aggressive. Runs straight into blockers (and can't shed them), poor instincts, no coverage ability, and makes undisciplined decisions. He's very passionate on the field, but possesses low football IQ. This was all before his knee problems.
Ultimately, his health, salary, and wreckless play got him let go. _________________

Cushing, Orakpo, CM III, to name a few... | Stafford. |
You sure about that? I mean 12 touchdowns in 10 games for someone who has Calvin Johnson and is a 1st round pick in this pass driven league? Sure isn't living up to the hype this year, lets just call last year a fluke? |
And he is 3rd in total yards for all quarterbacks. ALL ABOARD THE FAIL TRAIN CHOO CHOOO |

Stafford is no where near a bust. That's just silly. _________________

Same here. He's bad in coverage and he gets penalized too much but other than that, he's decent.
He simply didn't have a spot on this team and he made too much to be a backup. Add to that his health was a concern going forward and he got penalized twice in his first game back, which probably ticked off this coaching staff, and it was enough reason to move on from him. _________________
