The Hall of Fame has released its list of 27 semifinalists. Among the first-time nominees are John Lynch, Morten Andersen, Warren Sapp, Jonathan Ogden, Michael Strahan and Larry Allen. The complete list is at

Who do you think should get in? I think its a travesty that Don Coryell hasn't gotten in and that should definitely happen this year. I also think Charles Haley, Jonathan Ogden, Andre Reed, Will Shields, and Terrell Davis should all get in this year. |

Strahan's got it locked up.
Does this mean Marvin Harrison is eligible next year? It'd be interesting what happens with Cris Carter if Marv gets in before him. _________________

Not to start an agrument, but you think Cris Carter is going to get passed up again? I really think he's an obvious choices to get in, but he's not in yet so it's not so obvious.
There's a lot of guys deserving, if I were forced to pick 5 right now based on what I think and not based on what I think the voters will do (since I have no idea), I'd pick:
WR Cris Carter
OT Jonathan Ogden
DE Michael Strahan
DB Aeneas Williams
OL Larry Allen
Hell if I know, I'm never right about this stuff. _________________ Adopt-a-Brown: Jabaal Sheard - Stats:

Not over Cris Carter. Carter is a better receiver. |

I agree he is better, but this is the NFL HOF we're talking about. A lot of the time there is no rhyme or reason to who they put in ahead of who they keep out. Remember, Art Monk was put into the Hall the same year Cris Carter was first put on the ballot. There's no doubt Carter was a better WR than Monk as well, but that didn't change the fact that Monk went in and Carter is looking at his 6th year. _________________ Adopt-a-Brown: Jabaal Sheard - Stats:

Carter and Reed have been waiting for way too long, I know only one of them is getting in this year (dumb arbitrary "rules" yay) and I HOPE it's Carter, simply because it would free it up for Andre to get in the next year.
I hope. _________________

Davis didn't play long enough to warrant HOF induction. _________________
