| Raiders fan here just wondering what all the jags fans think they will do in the draft saying you guys have the 2nd overall pick and DT. Star is there and Jarvis Jones who do you guys go for or do with that pick. |

With the way we're getting dominated in the trenches, I'd hope Star would be the pick.
If Jarvis Jones didn't have the spinal problem, he'd be a no brainer. You just can't ignore that though. _________________

Manti Te'o has that Ray Lewis / Patrick Willis quality to him. I'd take him or Star. _________________

He seems like the pick. Te'o is the man I would like to see in a Jaguars uniform, but the final decision is all up to the front office. _________________

He doesn't really seem like the pick at all. Starting MLB isn't a need. _________________

STAHP! He doesn't compare to them at all...he's like an OLB playing doesn't tackle the bust and needs the front 4 to give him clean looks at the carrier...he does NOTHING in the backfield. _________________

The draft shouldn't be about need. Need drafting is how we ended up reaching half a round on Blackmon.
Its not as if you couldn't find a place for him. _________________

Manti, just like I wrote about last year, is going to be an above average OLB. _________________

We definitely disagree. I think he is one of very few can't-miss prospects in this draft.
Also, I agree that he will be an OLD, much the same as Daryl - only much better. _________________

Except, unlike Daryl who is our best, Manti makes no plays in the backfield...I would even go insofar to say Aaron Curry was a better can't miss guy. _________________

| I think Star Lotulelei or Damontre Moore make the most sense at this point. But that could definitely change. I'm still hoping that if we end up at #2, either someone does something incredible to set themselves apart from the pack (unlikely at this point), or we find a way to trade back. |

I would look:
1. Starlite Lotulelei, DT Utah
2. Louis Nix III, DT Notre Dame
3. Luke Joeckel, OT Texas A&M _________________

i'm with you on this one. it ain't sexy, but shoring up our o-line would move us closer to respectablity more than anything else we can realistically fix in one off season. |
