Wilson will be just fine in Seattle. They have a good running game and a good defense. They don't need him to be a superstar or anything. |

The guy I'm playing in fantasy today has the seahawks defense and it giving him 40 points. Just 3 points would lower him below my 95 score.

About to be 58-0. I expected it to be bad, but, not this bad.
I think the defense was still in it mentally until the Dockett fine. As soon as that came down the defense checked out and punched the exit ticket for nearly the entire staff.

With our guys yes. But we also overpaid for Kolb, Colledge, and a few others who had no business making the money they did. This isn't hindsight because they've been disappointments. They had average at best track records before we signed them.
EDIT: Stewart Bradley too. The guy was coming off an injured season. His best year was 2-3 years before we signed him. He got 5 years 25 million. That's just not good. |
He made Stewart Bradley take a paycut this offseason and he can dumped in a few months with 0 issues. |
Yeah let's just ignore the fact that Colledge and Bradley were overpaid to begin with. We can cut them, make them take pay cuts, but that doesn't make them any less overpaid. Bradley should be making what he's making right now without the paycut. It's that simple. He had no business getting 5 million a year ever. |
You didn't say when we signed him. I just re-read the thread...
5 mill's a reasonable salary and it cost us nothing in the long term, which is the ONLY thing that matters. The short term impact is nothing, as we couldn't/wouldn't have spent that money on anyone better in the interim. The only point of contracts is how they impact your franchise in the long term.
