Quote: | Braylon Edwards called his former bosses in New York a bunch of "idiots" on Monday for their handling of New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez. We wonder what he'll say about his former bosses in Seattle.
The Seahawks waived/injured Edwards on Tuesday in a surprise move. They also placed guard James Carpenter on the reserve/non-football illness list for the remainder of the season. |
Could be the end of Edwards' NFL career. |

After his comment defending Mark Sanchez
Sure it had nothing to do with that Carpenter hurt his knee so we need O-Line help. |

I would love Pittsburgh to pick him up for next year. Big WR with some pretty good speed; Big Ben would love that in Pittsburgh! _________________ Come Follow The Great NSFL!

Edwards and Sanchez really seemed to get the most out of one another. Still don't know why the Jets let him go. _________________

I wouldn't mind Pittsburgh giving him a shot next year if we don't tag Wallace. Big physical guy, and a few years younger than Plax. _________________

Guy still has skills. Wasn't going to show them behind Rice and Tate, though. _________________ A sunny disposition is worth more than fortune. Says the man who still thinks Randy Moss is an elite receiver.
Dude has skills. He's skillful at dropping the ball and being hurt.
I thought it was going to be a big signing but it was just another boom or bust adventure in a long line of Pete Carroll experiments (See Owens, Terrell and Williams, Mike) |

He was my favorite player when he played for the Jets in 2010, so I hope he can get it together after doing nothing for the past 2 seasons. _________________

With some of the WR's starting football games for teams, i can not see how Edwards can't find more playing time. _________________

It wouldn't be a particularly risky pick-up or anything. _________________

They just picked up Plex, I don't see why picking up a younger, faster, more well balanced version of Plex wouldn't make sense. _________________
