| I want the Jets to make the playoffs. With the Pats almost assuredly the #3 seed, the Jets would make a nice opening round matchup. |

Tebow plays a whole drive, then Sanchez comes in and throws a pick. I hope this means more Tebow! _________________ Shut up, NBT |

I think we'd all love to see Arrington match up with Plaxico Burress or AJ Green instead |

Hopefully he's shut down for the rest of the regular season. They will need him Wild Card weekend, regardless of which AFC North team they draw (no, I don't think the Colts or Jets will get the #6 seed though I am hoping either does) |

One thing that really surprises me (sort of, anyway) in the NFL - the number of coaches, GM's and fans that cling to young QB's and have the "let's just give them one more year" type attitude (Ponder, Locker, Sanchez pre-2012)
Seriously, how many high caliber or even 2nd tier NFL QB's didn't show a ton of promise very early on? How many in the last 20 years were "slow starters"? Sure, all young QB's make their mistakes and have bad starts - Peyton Manning was pretty bad as a rookie. But even with the bad stats, you could tell that he had "it." |

Peyton Manning had the legitimate excuse that he was on a largely talentless team. They had a few good pieces at the skill positions, but were otherwise bereft of talent. Honestly, if I was GM of a team that didn't have a top tier starter in place at QB, I'd be drafting one every year until I caught lightning in a bottle. With the current rookie salary pool rules, there's little risk in taking that approach, even near the top of the draft. The only guy that started slow and blossomed into something great in recent memory is Drew Brees, and he didn't really hit his stride until he hooked up with Sean Payton. Other than that, every quality QB currently in the league was showing themselves to be a legitimate NFL starter by their second season. |
