Saw this question elsewhere and thought it could be interesting to see people's opinion on their team, so who's that player from your team?
For Newcastle it's Mike Williamson.
Nothing against him personally and he's done well to get to where he is but my god. His pace makes him a liability against anything close to a pacey striker and even for his height he still often gets beaten when defending set pieces because he loses track of his man. Then there's the attacking set pieces, all season Pardew has insisted on aiming all dead balls at him towards the back post and almost every time he loses to the defender in the air. So very average defender and he offers nothing going forward. _________________

Joe Cole.
He's got nothing to offer anymore and he takes playing time away from other players who might get better and are probably better than him now. He's also on big wages, can't wait for him to leave. _________________

Gervinho is the obvious one, but if you want me to pick someone from the first XI, I'd say Mertesacker. _________________

Should I dare and say his name...
All I'm gonna say is that he is Portuguese. _________________

Really? I know he's got flaws, but he's held up well this season. _________________

You could probably just as easily say Vermaelen. The only untouchable players in our XI are Wilshere, Cazorla and Gibbs (due to no real back-up) and perhaps Podolski (quietly he's statistically having a good season despite having to play out wide)
I was also inclined to say Arteta.. but there's not really a popular answer because I was thinking about starting XI only. Some might say Szczesny? (and we've been linked with Pepe Reina)
Per has been much better this year than last and he's only 28 so there's no reason to think he could end up being a staple of our starting XI for another 4-5 seasons. On _________________

Eric Lichaj. Although from the sounds of it he's been passed up in the LB depth chart by both Bennett and Stevens, so I guess he's only in there because of injuries right now. Either way, the dude and his moustache get embarrassed every game. _________________

I forgot about him but I also realized Hutton is on our roster. He has to be the top culprit _________________

The only one I can think of for Fulham is Mark Schwarzer. He has been very poor this season but I don't know how much of an improvement David Stockdale would be. _________________
