Take players born in your region (North East, North West ect) and build a team! Yanks can pick a region to do
Midlands
GK: Joe Hart
RB: Micah Richards
CB: Ashley Williams
CB: Gary Cahill
LB: Joleon Lescott
RW: Ryan Shotton
CM: Craig Gardner
CM: Tom Huddlestone
LW: Marc Albrighton
CF: Steven Fletcher
CF: Daniel Sturridge
Strong defence, and two decent forwards but the midfield is very weak! _________________

I'm confused, how do Joe Hart or Micah Richards qualify as midlands? _________________

Is that where they were born? Where was Steve Fletcher born?
Shrewsbury, who knew.
This its tough to know where they were born might have a go after this Chelsea game. _________________

Yeah Fletch and Hart born in Shrewsbury (Hart still goes back to Shrewsbury all the time to go out with his mates there) and Richards in Brum. _________________

I'll have a go at London though it's not too hard with a lot of club players being local and it's such a populated area.
This team is pretty old but notable I guess.. and I'm not putting Cashley in it.
GK: Chris Day
LB: Kieran Gibbs
CB: John Terry
CB: Rio Ferdinand
RB: Steven Taylor
RM: David Beckham
CM: F:rank Lampard
CM: Scott Parker
LM: Kieran Richardson
FW: Theo Walcott
FW: Carlton Cole _________________

Steven Taylor must have got his [inappropriate/removed] kicked in school for being born in London. They absolutely hate cockneys.
The North-West team should be the best.
Shocking lack of a GK from London. Lee Grant from Burnley isn't to bad. _________________

Lets go with Catalunya.
GK: Valdes
RB: Montoya
CB: Pique
CB: Puyol
LB: Alba
DM: Busi
CM: Xavi
CM: Cesc
RW: Tello
ST: Alvaro
LW: Bojan
Pretty good team. Front 3 are the only question mark. _________________

That's a good one Yankee.
I'd be interested to see a collection of players from the Basque territory, but I'm not really knowledgeable enough to really put that together.
I know of a lot of players who are eligible to be considered for this but not necessarily from the region, but plenty come from there specifically like Xabi Alonso, Mikel Arteta, Stephane Ruffier and some others that aren't as well-known. _________________

You think Deulofeu could start over Bojan or Alvaro? _________________

Top of my head I'd go with...
Ruffier
Azpilecueta
Mikel San Jose
Inigo Martinez
Natxo Monteal
Javi Martinez
Mikel Arteta
Xabi Alonso
Muniain
Susaeta
Llorente
Or a 4-2-3-1 dropping Arteta or Alonso. Muniain in the hole behind Llorente with Susaeta and Griezmann on the wings.
Teamorange, you could. I personally would leave him on the bench and go with a more experienced front 3. _________________

Ruffier was born in France. Think it would be more interesting to get players that were actually born in the region. _________________
