2nd SS Phillip Thomas
3rd OT Kyle Long
4th DE Margus Hunt
5th Cb Tyran Mathieu |
I'd cry tears of joy if we could get this to happen |
If we had a 2nd and went with safety I'd kill for Elam. Reminds me of Dawkins |
Ya true Elam is a beast, if we could get philip thomas in the 4th that would be a dream i dont think he will last that long dude is a thumper.. watch some of his youtube stuff pretty solid and he forces alot of turnovers which we really need.. Elam would be solid as well thow.. I really want to take a chance on Tyran Mathieu we need playmakers bad!! |

Sounds like a more polished Tommy Kelly type imo |
Nah a Warren Sapp. Dude has a Elite first step and he is not as fat as tommy |

He reminds me of Darnell Dockett in his prime for the Cardinals right now. He could be a really good 4-3 UT or 3-4 DE. _________________

Round 1- Star Louetilele, DT for the next 10 years, improve run defense greatly and take up blockers for improve LB play.
-or-
Damontre Moore/Bjeorn Werner- pass rusher OTF, everyone needs one, make our DB's look better.
Round 3- Kyle Long, takes over the RT spot the the future.
-or- Margus Hunt, if we take Star I'd love Hunt, boom bust guy, physical potential through the roof.
Round 4- Andrew Jackson, hopefully can have a Burris type impact, take McClains spot.
-or- Phillip Thomas, ST and work his way into the starting line up.
Round 6- Jeff Nady, love his athleticism and potential, if we dot get Long, he'd be a good pick here.
-or- Michael Mauti, love his heart and smarts, injury problems though, depth at first.
Round 7- John Boyett, Qunatures Smith, CB |
I see what you did there and I like it lol _________________

The only thing I have against the Star pick, is he that much better than Johnathon Hankins who the Raiders can trade back and pick up and another high draft pick as well .
So it come down to Star vs two players. |
I have a gut feeling Star is not going to be the star he's projected to be.
These drafts always end up being a shuffle of 95% of the players who are appearing currently in the mock drafts, although if you look at the mock drafts from this past April, the lists are much different.
I see RM trading down to get a 2nd rounder if possible. |

Damontre Moore - True edge rusher we currently lack. I'd expect him to get somewhere between 8 and 10 sacks in his rookie season with the potential to consistently get 10+. His past experience at OLB in a 3-4 gives us the flexibility to run that hybrid scheme as well. _________________

Kyle Van Noy BYU (OLB) looks like a real good prospect if we go DL or OL in the first. Heck even if we dont he would be a nice prospect.
13 sacks, 22 for a loss, 6 FF, 5 PD, 1 Int and several TD's. |

Ya, I know he had two for sure in the bowl game. One on a INT and the other on a FF that he recovered himself.
He also had another one that I know of in the first game of the season if I remember correctly. |
