The curious thing about Francis was that people spoke glowingly of his practice performance but when I saw him in the pre-season games he looked dreadful.
He has definitely made the most of his chances lately though. He and Deaderick have both looked good the last few weeks. |
To be fair, Francis did look absolutely terrible in the preseason games. Always a second late off the snap, plodding and not getting any pressure whatsoever. _________________

Nevermind the fact that it's mainly because they run like hell when up big. It's very chicken and the egg. When they CAN run they do and it works. _________________

I wonder how much of that is due to Love being a little banged up at times and how much is Deaderick out-performing him.
Deaderick has been noticeably better than Love IMO. I haven't seen much from Love this year to indicate that he's taken a step forward developmentally, whereas Deaderick seems to have gotten a little better. |
