| Alright guys, Updated this as of 1/16/2013. Sorry for the long layoff, college classes started and was getting back into the swing of things. Any updates to GM, OC, or any other transaction will be posted in here as well as the candidates if I see any others. I like the other posts for GM and OC, lets keep this almost just as an overall record of this offseason. |

I believe he becomes a free agent after this season. If Baltimore let's him go, I say we should go for him. He will be cheaper to bring in if we lose out on Landry. _________________

As much as I love Reed being a Hurricanes fan, he's been pretty bad this year. Just ask Ravens fans. I really hope he retires a Raven. One of the best safeties of all time. _________________

Am I the only one who think Kyle Williams can be a good WR in the right situation?
Maybe similar to Lance Moore? _________________

Just as long as he doesn't punt return for us I wouldn't mind giving him a chance. In all fairness though, I feel if we resign Braylon and with the return of Santonio, WR is not going to be a position of need for us on offense, well at least as big as QB, RB, OG.
Top four Wr: Tone, Braylon, Kerley, Hill
That ain't too bad |

I agree. I was just looking at the roster and realized that the WR core is really not that bad. I'm not a fan of Holmes, but I think this system will work out for him. Hopefully we will bring back Braylon. _________________

Thats IF we bring back Braylon. Also I dont even consider Hill a weapon. Hes so terrible and hes such a mismatch for the WCO. We should really try to move him while we can. _________________

Oh no! The project receiver who everyone knew would take a while to develop isn't ready after his rookie year?! Who ever could have seen that happening.
The Stephen Hill hate is a little ridiculous, yeah he has a long way to go but saying we should move him now is an absurd suggestion. _________________

Beat me to it. Especially considering we would get absolutely no value for him at this point in time. _________________

Yeah, it would be pointless to even shop Hill at all.
I don't even know why moving Hill is even being discussed right now. _________________

I know there is a big IF on Braylon, but I think he can fit this scheme and atleast give us 2 solid years under the right QB. With bad QB play & hamstring injury, he still looked pretty good. He loves being a Jet. Give him a cheap two year deal. That will take care of one of our needs.
During the combine, I wasn't a fan of Hill. But when we drafted him, I kind of forced myself to like him. I knew his hands were bad, but wow. He has a lot to work to do and someone like Braylon who improved his catching over the years can teach him if given the right deal. I'm not giving up on Hill yet, but that was a bad 1st season.
One of the reasons why I mentioned Williams is because he is the fast shifty WR that MM likes in his system. Could be cheap to trade for. Besides those punt fumbles, he looked pretty good. Not huge numbers, so it wouldn't be a "sexy" trade. 49ers have Crabtree, Moss, Manningham, and developing AJ Jenkins. But I would only be interested in a move like this if we don't bring back Bray. _________________
