From my perspective this is ideal, as Knapp has been nothing short of a disaster but I have seen flashes of good stuff from Allen. Team clearly is still playing for him (compared with Hue Jackson who appeared to have lost them towards the end of last year) and the D improved markedly the last 5 games of the year. _________________

Great move from Oakland, love it. Knapp was a disaster. _________________

Good move by the Raiders.
I never understood why Knapp was appointed as OC, his scheme never fitted the strengths of the Raiders offensive players.
Hopefully Allen could look to bring an experienced OC who can make more use of the talents they have on offense. _________________

Going to miss that Knapp meme with the captions but this was a good move by Oakland. _________________

| If he gets another oc job in the nfl I would be shocked. Dude is and has always been a terrible oc. He made darren mcfadden look lke a flat out scrub this year |

I am still confused on how he managed to take DMAC out of the offensive equation. _________________

Worst OC in the NFL. This will without a doubt be his last coordinating gig. Dennis Allen is a moron for hiring him. _________________

I laughed when they hired him. Said it was terrible back then. They were bringing in an OC who ran a ZBS and a passing attack that didn't fit their offensive personnel and best offensive player. Was a ridiculously dumb move. _________________

Who hired Did Reggie ok this or was he already there ?
Regardless, good move sacking Knapp and keeping Allen (for at least one more year). _________________

| Knew it was a terrible move then, and he was a colossal disaster that could've cost Allen his job. |
