| Good. Get Cam and those Panthers a real head coach please. I would love to see what Chip Kelly could do with that offense. |

They need to move on without him. He's not a winning caliber HC. _________________

I agree.
But this report is a bit early.
He's apparently in limbo and will meet with our owner in a day or two. _________________

Again, I don't know 1% of what happens behind the scenes with coaches and management, but come on...these firings are getting ridiculous. Look at Marvin Lewis in Cinci, he's been on the chopping block at least five teams and he has his team in the playoffs again. _________________

That team looked like they were ready to turn the corner. Why fire the Head Coach now?
Some teams its needed. This just seems to be impatience from the Panthers FO. _________________

Right now there's zero substance to this. Lombardi has been reporting he'd be fired for days, but as of now no one knows if he's sticking around or not. _________________

Doesn't deserve it if it happens. Taking over a 2-14 team and then going 6-10 and 7-9 shouldn't get you canned. _________________

Already? Before you know it Newton is going to be surrounded by coaches that never wanted to draft him in the first place. _________________

While it is far from official yet, I think it is pretty likely Rivera is ousted by the end of the week. From what I'm hearing, we're just waiting to hire a general manager. Then the future of Ron Rivera will be decided then and I'm just not sure a new GM is going to want to stick with a past HC. At least not a GM that isn't in-house. _________________

Hasn't happened yet. Either way, I don't think he deserves to be fired. _________________

Nor do I, and I think i'm in the minority among Panther fans. His first year with a full offseason he took a terrible defense and flipped it into a top 10 unit with a couple rookies and two FA pickups. The man can coach, and the players obviously play hard for him. _________________
