| Potential for a very difficult schedule. Words cannot describe how badly I want revenge against the Ravens in their house. |

Interestingly enough, this will be the first time since 2003 (?) That the Colts and Patriots won't play each other in the regular season. _________________

Correct. The only other time was 2002. |

That sucks. I was hoping we'd get to open with them. We only played them in the conference game. _________________

Correct. The only other time was 2002. | Wow, that's an amazing little fact. |

That schedule looks very friendly at first glance. There are a few toss ups, but a lot of games the Pats "should" win.
Potential toss ups
Saints - Last time they played in '09, it was very bad for the Patriots. I see a much better game this time. I'm 99% sure the team with the ball last will be the victor.
Ravens - It seems that they've regressed tremendously, but only time will tell. They always play the Pats hard regardless.
Falcons - I cannot see a scenario where Ryan is not torching the pass defense for 300+ yards and 3+TDs.
Broncos - Huge toss up...
Patriots go 13-3 this season. |

Broncos at home
If that game is in September/October that is definitely the one I'll be going to. _________________

Wouldnt surprise me if Denver @ New England is a season opener prime timer. "Wes Welker notches 2 drops, 0 catches in blow out loss during return to Foxboro. R. Moss and D. Amendola light it up". _________________

My first impression of it was that it seemed pretty challenging - though I'm of the belief that the Dolphins and Panthers will be tougher than many think (i.e. could be strong playoff contenders). I could see them having difficulties with Cam Newton. The Saints should rebound and all of the playoff teams seem likely to be competitive.
Other than the Jets (who are often challenging, even when they stink), I don't see any easy games. The Pats are better than most of those teams, but - as you say - there are a lot of toss ups. |
