I wouldn't consider Hopkins the top WR in this draft, but overall I could certainly live with this for Buffalo.

Still, with it looking like their may be a number of WR options in Free Agency I'm hoping the Bills snag one of them to fill that hole so they can get actually address defensive holes without feeling like they're setting up their new QB to fail.

Organizationally, you will see a change in the way the Jets value draft picks. Inability to fill out the roster with draft picks is a glaring weakness of their overall strategy. I also don't see Woody Johnson falling for Geno Smith, although it would get the media thrilled.

Bjoern Werner has to be a BPA before 21. While I agree with you that he's overrated, I could not see the Saints passing on him for Williams. I think that despite him being overrated, he'll end up in Detroit.

Johnathan Hankins is a two down run stopper that won't generate up field pressure. I sincerely doubt the Eagles land him. I just don't view him as a top 10 or even top 15 selection.

I completely agree with you on Mike Glennon.

DeAndre Hopkins is a rich for the Bills. If they're so taken with Nassib that they're willing to Trade Up- might as well take him at 8.

Why? Should they be expecting someone else to take him before 30? If they get Nassib either way, let's look at what the charts say they could get with their other picks.

Value of pick 8 = 1400
Value of picks 41 + 71 = 725

Granted drafting Hopkins might not be the best way to make use of the value, but it seems they'd be much better off using pick 8 on something else rather than 41 + 71.

Don't like it for the Niners. We can find a TE later.

The only way I'd advocate the Bills giving up Picks 41 + 71 for Nassib is if they draft an impact defensive player at 8. One guy in particular is Jarvis Jones if available.

If Ryan Nassib is the Franchise Quarterback- the longterm solution for the next 8-12 years; You simply select him at 8. Why risk not being able to maneuver back to the end of the First Round.

Because they'd be silly to believe he IS the longterm solution for the next 8-12 years. They may believe he has the best chance to become one, but it's never a sure thing. They also know that there are other quarterbacks that also have a chance to be the longterm solution for the next 8-12 years, even if the odds are lower.

There's a risk either way. Take him at 8 and you're drastically reducing the chances of getting a franchise player at your first non-qb pick, for what may only be a slight drop in the chance of getting a franchise QB.

I acually would not mind Hankins but if we could trade back with someone that wants Geno would be great.

Plus why is Warner rated so low?

Why would the Jets trade up for a system QB who benefited from having 2 of the better receivers in CFB? Geno Smith is not that good.

I like the Te'o pick even with the passing over of some pass rushers that might be tempting to select.

Hmmm, I like it for the Cards but don't love it. Not sure if we would do it though I don't know what to expect from our new GM as far as trades go
