I'm not too worried about this affecting Charles either, lol. The guy can dominate on low touches, and he will benefit a TON by us having at least a formidable passing game. He'll probably also be used more in the passing game as well. _________________

Love it!
QB guy for a QB starved team!
People have he needs time off. I think with this out of the way he will have some time to focus those issues, similar to Philbin last year joining the Dolphins. All reports are he has his staff pretty much assembled as he anticipated wrapping up his job search very quickly. The guy was ready. With the job issue not dragging on he can get moving forward on all fronts - new team and family issues. _________________ In Andy We Trust!

Does that mean Ray Horton as AZ's HC? |
I think AZ has jumped into the Chip Kelly and Brian Kelly sweepstakes. Apparently, both coaches are rumored to have been lining up interviews with pro teams. At least, according to Mort earlier this morning on ESPN Radio.
That being said, great hire for KC. I think it all but guarantees either Tyler Wilson or Geno Smith as the #1 overall pick, and it just turned Jamaal Charles into more of a beast on offense than he was before. _________________

A fellow Eagles poster of mine, EF5-36-81, suggested that with Big Red going to KC, don't be surprised to see them take Joeckel 1st (while letting Albert walk) and take a QB at the top of the 2nd. I honestly could see that as an Andy Reid type of move.
Don't etch Eugene Smith's name in stone just yet. _________________

I havent heard much about Brian Kelly though. _________________

Reid does like his linemen.
Good call. |

Heckert is the obvious connection to Reid as a complimentary GM, but I also know that Reid has a connection with John Dorsey who is in the Green Bay front office. I would love to get someone like Dorsey and would prefer him over Heckert, although I would still take either over Pioli. _________________

I'll believe it when there's a press conference could be a negotiating ploy. _________________

Don't etch Eugene Smith's name in stone just yet. | Makes sense. Could go Jockel in the first and then Barkely in the top of the 2nd. _________________

Did you misspell Cardinals?
Kidding. Would be a great hire for KC. Unless Geno completely poops the bed leading up to the draft, I think it's all but done he'll be a Chief. |

I'd be shocked if we interviewed them. I think it's Horton or Haley at this point -- unless McCoy wow's them in Denver on Saturday. |
