Knowing what you know now--including and specifically the cost, a third round pick vs. 3 first and a second.. Do you wish we had drafted Wilson instead.. and retained all those high picks .. |

Not at all. While I like Russell Wilson I don't ever think he will be an elite QB in the NFL. _________________

Right now, yes. We'll see in a couple years.
But Wilson + 1st & 2nd this year would still be a playoff team, and probably a lot better one.
Morris Clairborne/Mark Barron and Jonathan Martin/Janoris Jenkisn in the second, would provide some substantial improvement to the team. |

Why? They're both great runners. They're both very good passers.
You could run the exact same offense with Wilson. |

no i dont think wilson can run the option nearly as well as Bob can.
RG3 is faster, bigger and a bigger threat to run the ball than RW is.. _________________

Ha- here is a better one! Why don't we just not draft rg3. Draft Claiborne, Johnathan Martin, Brandon Taylor and then roll with Kirk Cousins as our qb this year.
Our starting qb would be cousins, rest of the offense the same, our secondary would have been a whole lot better.
All that being said, it's a NO for me. I'd take RG3, I think he will prove to be the better long term qb. I also believe Russell Wilson would not have the redskins winning the NFCE this season his season.
Wilson has a lot more help in Seattle than rg3 has in DC. Russell Wilson has a top 5 defense and for the most of the year, Rg3 has had to overcome the poor play of his defense. _________________

Why doubt RG3? I personally loved the trade you guys made to get him when everyone was doubting you guys and I still like that decision. _________________

This year RGIII > Russell Wilson
RGIII's ceiling >>>>> Russell Wilson
I'll take RGIII any time, even with the extra cost. _________________

Keep telling yourself that. Russell Wilson became the captain (and leader of the locker room) at Wisconsin in a month.
Watch the two Sound FX videos on RW and RG3 for Week 17. You can't say (with any kind of certainty) about who is the better leader.
Russell Wilson also has the better arm, but RG3 has a more powerful arm. Russell Wilson throws the ball with pinpoint touch, but I can understand why one would say that RG3 has a better arm. _________________
