Just goes to show that you can't believe everything you hear when it comes to rumors. Nine times out of ten, it's all smoke.
Hopefully, for the Browns sake, they've learned their lesson, and will get serious about an NFL guy, instead of a college guy who is a self promoter.
If I'm Oregon, I would tell Kelly to take a hike since he is out and about flirting with NFL teams. All that does is hurt Oregon's recruiting, and shows how Kelly is not committed to their program. |

I think Chip would be the guy to make a lateral move once he's a HC in the NFL TBH. Fire Kelly because he's talking to NFL teams? If anything him turning down NFL jobs twice would help convince recruits to go there. Who are you going to replace him with? _________________

Oregon released a press statement saying that Offensive Coordinator Mark Helfrich would be promoted to Head Coach. This is the same move Stanford made when Harbaugh left, and they promoted David Shaw. |

I really hope Chip doesn't stay at Oregon.

We now need to replace the Freeman face with Weeden's face.

Overreaction.

Again, overreaction. It is common to search in the college ranks, especially in years in which many teams are looking to hire new coaches. You don't know how it will turn out if you don't at least try. There is no lesson to learn here. They gave it their best shot. |

If they have a choice between Kelly or literally anyone else they take Kelly still _________________

The reason why they're called rumors, is because they're just that. If they had facts to them, they wouldn't be called rumors. That's not an overreaction, that's a fact.
A persons opinion doesn't equate to an overreaction. |

It doesn't mean that he's not at Kelly's level either. I'm sure there were those who questioned the promotion of David Shaw, and that's turned out just fine for Stanford. |

Can we just go ahead and lock this up? I'm getting confused every time I enter NFL News. _________________
