In what shouldn't be news to anyone... Rolando McClain is a flipping MORON! And as much as I may revel in the Raiders losing, I don't wish morons like this on any franchise. The sooner they cut ties with this guy (and Tommy Kelly), the better for the organization as a whole.

| I...don't understand. What is a window tint violation like 50 bucks? Why would he give the officer a false name? And the officer is going to ask for your license and registration to give you the ticket so how the bleep do you think he's not going figure out your real name? |

Actually, it's what I get for trying to type my own Board code tags instead of using the buttons above. Typed ["url"] and then attempted to close it with a ["/u"]. I fail!

That's what I don't understand either. It's not like it was a major crime. He handled it so poorly but then again that's what McClain does.

Why would it lessen the cap penalty? The penalty is typically for monies you've already paid out but haven't accounted for on your cap ledger (i.e. counted against the cap in any year yet). The league doesn't give allowances of creative accounting because your players are morons.
If that were the case the Chargers could get out from under Jared Gaither's contract.
