Al Michaels just commented on the CIN/HOU broadcast that Christian Ponder is inactive.
Soooooo looks like that injury to CP's shoulder might be a little more serious than initially was thought?
Implications?
Joe Webb isn't half bad; I thought he played well last year and was robbed of a comeback victory vs. Detroit in 2011. But, w/ how well CP7 has played as of late, I'd much rather face Joe Webb.
Update: With 2 1/2 hours to game time...

Gotcha. Tough way to enter the playoffs for the Vikings. No pressure, AP, but... yeah, here's some extra pressure. |

I find Webb to be the better QB of the 2,very mobile. I think he'll give GB fits, especially considering the fact that GB has been preparing for Ponder to start. _________________

If I'm a Packers fan, I think I'd actually prefer to play against Ponder than Joe Webb. Webb has gamebreaking "how the hell did he do that" ability. _________________

Ponder has shown that ability on the road too. But replace "how" with "why".
Part of me just wants to see Webb play, just to run all over GB. Might even work. The Packers couldnt stop the run for the life of them. |
