Give the Vikings Minter in the second round and I could live with it. I'd Prefer Patterson or even Jenkins in the first round.

For the Texans, ILB or RT will likely be our first round pick. We have no one next to Cushing on the inside and RT was a black hole this year. My suggestion is Kevin Minter ILB, LSU for our first rnd pick.

Redskins really need secondary help over another pass rusher.

or an OT. I like Kyle Long, but I think this would be reaching.

We need more help on defense than anything. CB, ILB in the 2nd, and then S in the 3rd or vice versa. The way Tyler Polumbus has played this year, surprisingly, the OT need is a little farther down the list.

Round 1:

17. Pittsburgh Steelers - OLB Barkevious Mingo, LSU

not a fan of Mingo for the Steelers. Too tall, too skinny. Middling production for who he has around him. I'd take Montgomery or Okafor before him if we're going OLB convert in this round, or even WR.

Round 2:

48. Pittsburgh Steelers - DT Jesse Williams, Alabama
I do like the player, and I like where we'd get him. I'm not sure we'd pull the trigger though as we have a few guys at NT that we like. None of them are slam dunks, however, so this is possible, although I could easily see us going for Kevin Minter instead, position of HUGE need, possibly Philip Thomas

Round 3:

79. Pittsburgh Steelers - QB Aaron Murray, Georgia
well, that obviously won't happen. Giovani Bernard preferably, possibly Kiko Alonso if we don't get Minter

Why would hte Cowboys take Arthur Brown when we have Lee and Carter? DL would be much better (Sharrif Floyd)

Ok mock for the Cards. Don't like the idea of the Cards taking a CB in the 2nd

This Patriots Draft makes little to no sense.

Elam in the first is a great pick. A definite position of need, with a player that flies off the tape for me. Can cover slot receivers, lays the lumber, a team leader physically and mentally. Concerns about his drive cause me to pause, but I think he will be fine at the next level. After this pick though, the train sails off the tracks.

Chase Thomas in the second, while I love the Stanford defenders, there is no need for him... at all, especially when we have many other team needs (S, CB, WR, OL, DL). The Pats have Mayo, Spikes, Hightower... and Fletcher could be coming back next year (hopefully). Would love him if we needed him, but he does not match up with our needs.

Then you compound it by giving us Simon out of OSU, at LB no less. I do not think he has the athleticism to play LB, and will be better suited as a 43DE. But to give us a second linebacker is where this draft really loses me.

I like these players, but this would be a terrible draft for the Patriots

New Mock is up on the OP!

I read over everyone's posts and attempted to fix all the problems that were mentioned.

Enjoy!

warning: it might be hard to read, kinda small..

Vikings love the first round pick.
2nd rnd if it fell like this, I would trade down to the top of 3 and pick up 4th rnd pick.
Now top of 3rd select Darrick Rogers and our 3 rnd pick select Gabe Jackson or Alvin Bailey
Then trade top 4th rnd pick and 6th rnd pick move back in the third and take Quinton Patton
Then with other top 4th pick select Micah Hyde and our original 4th rnd pick Cameron Lawrence

Hate the 1st, love the 2nd, hate the 3rd for the Steelers. Would rather have Eric Reid there over Jordan. If Mingo is too tall and lanky, Jordan is WAY too tall and lanky.

Speaking of which, where is Mingo?
