You obviously have no idea the type of coaches the Bills "typically" hire.
Hiring Jim Fassel would have been a typical Bills move.
This was the complete opposite. We normally go out an hire retread coaches. Doug Marrone is someone new that is getting his much deserved chance to be a Head Coach. _________________

Yeah, its funny how everyone wants a coach who has failed somewhere else in the grand scheme of things. A lot of these "bigger names" are available for a reason. _________________

I wanted Lovie but retreads don't really have much success. _________________

Lovie would have been a good choice...a step above Gailey. But Marrone has that intangible you cant put your finger on. The quiet genius...very smart coach. _________________

Marrone will get us a franchise QB, somehting Lovie never could do. Maybe just maybe we bring him in as DC?
anyways, I like Marrone and he isn't some subpar name, the browns eagles and chargers were all interested in him. and lonebillsfan good not great NFL success?
In Marrones 3 years at the Saints OC, they posted the No 1 overall offence twice and top 5 scoring offense twice.
It's Spiller time Buffalo! _________________

| great hire for Buffalo. If he couldn't coach then he wouldn't be getting recommented by Parcells & Sean Payton |

I like this hire a lot for Buffalo. Marrone will know how to maximize Spiller to the best of his abilities, unlike Gailey. _________________

Don't really get this at all... When will the Bills learn?
I could see firing Gailey to bring in Lovie, but it would've been better just to keep Gailey for consistency instead of hiring another unproven coach... Inb4 he's fired in 3 years... Sorry, Bills fans. _________________ With much cheese,

I'm not even that impressed by what he did at Syracuse. The last coach there was awful and people act like Cuse was some crap program because of it. But it's not really a bad program and I would expect a really good coach to be able to get more than 8 wins in the Big East with a team full of his own recruits.
I just don't know about this. _________________

Who was?
I had Marrone in my top 3.
1. Chip (Didn't want to come here)
2. Lovie (Another retread)
3. Marrone
As a Buffalo fan I love it but as a Syracuse fan I hate it. _________________

Yes ..it was a horrible program. You have no idea what Greg Robinson did to that program. He turned us into Duke. _________________
