Gettleman has a very good resume. Worked with the Giants this past season and while Ross got more hype, Accorsi (who Richardson hired him to help him in the search) recommended Gettleman.

no one cares about the panthers apparently.
3 rings and 3 other SB appearances is nice. i wish he could have made the decision on rivera though... who is apparently starting over with half of a new staff in a make-or-break year. sigh.
hope he gets a good cap guy to get these insane contracts under control. will we finally have a director of pro personnel? that'd be cool. wonder if he will clean out the rest of the front office or if he even has the power to do that.
