As a ND fan, I selfishly hope he doesnt get or take the job. But as a football fan in general it would be a great move for Philly.

If Kelly leaves, Ill hate him forever...

And the way he left Cincinnati makes me very nervous. He basically lied to everyone before he got the job.

Eagles are just basically interviewing everybody available... They have Lovie Smith coming in for an interview tomorrow. 4 more interviews are scheduled as well.

Not necessarily; just more or less hoping for some decency from an NCAA head coach for once.

I would just say it's all about getting a raise or a payday from a rich alumni to stay.

Reports are he's already left the country on some sort of vacation. Doesn't sound too serious.

I doubt he'll take the job. I think it's all a ploy by him to get a raise and extension from Notre Dame. You see it all the time with these college coaches.

Most likely.

Really hope he stays at ND after all he has been able to do in 3 years. I don't know how he would be in the NFL, but right now he has one of the best jobs in the country.

The Eagles should rush out and sign Brian Kelly ASAP.

That cedes control of the NFC E to the NYG.

Shanahan is old and his methods have caught up with him.

The Cowboys HC and QB are not what fans wish they are.

If Kelly joins the division the NYG can breath easier. And the Bears won't be tempted. Wink

I could be wrong, but I'm not reading much into this. Saban flirted with NFL, got a raise. Chip Kelly flirted, got a raise. It only makes sense that Kelly would do the same because he has all the leverage. There's no really great coaching candidates outside of the grudens.
