Ogden is the only one I feel confidant saying is a lock to get in. Parcels should get in. Coryell not even being a finalist is a joke. How many teams are still running a variant of his offense and yet he still isn't in the HOF.
I will tear a chunk of my hair out if Bettis gets in. The only thing that was ever hall of fame about him was the longetivity.
I am meh on both Reed and Carter. They have numbers but never helped their team step it up to the next level. Of the two, Reed was the more successful though. Those Bills teams were stacked and it's a shame that Norwood was such a choke job. |

No love for Morten Andersen.
Damn a friend showed me a bet where you can get 17 times the money betting on Ogden, glad I didn't bet on Strahan like him. _________________

Will Shields and Charles Haley should've been in the hall years ago. Don Coryell not being a finalist is ridiculous yet again
I'd be happy seeing Strahan/Sapp/Ogden get in though |

I agree with this, too. | A 3.9 YPC for his career his not very good. Definitely not HoF worthy. _________________

The dude was good and had a really long career. It's deceptive if you look at just the numbers because it doesn't account for his thousand year career. How he made it as a finalist just astounds me though. Yes, I get that he was the Steelers MVP a couple years but that was really more of the fact that they had a great defense and abysmal quarterbacks. I don't even think he ever won a rushing title. Hall of Fame without a rushing title for a RB baffles me. |

The reason is that Coryell simply wasn't good enough as a head coach and there isn't really a precedent for innovators unless they also won big. |

Just look at his coaching tree... Plus the dude coached at SDSU. |

He did very well considering the fact he worked for two of the biggest cheapskate owners of all time in Bidwell and Klein |

Yea, everyone on this damn site uses the length of his career as an argument as to why he is not HOF worthy. Its sickening. _________________
