| Quote: | On Thursday, when Caldwell was introduced to the Jacksonville media, he was asked the elephant-in-the-room question about Tebow, who currently is on the New York Jets' roster. Would Caldwell be willing to bring Tebow home to Jacksonville, where he starred in high school and then traveled just down the road to Gainesville to help the University of Florida win two national championships?
Tm Tebow has no chance in Jacksonville after the GM's blunt assessment. (AP)
"I can't imagine a scenario where he would be a Jacksonville Jaguar," Caldwell said. A reporter, apparently dumbfounded by the directness of the response, even asked Caldwell to repeat that quote and Caldwell did.
Boom. |
| Quote: | | Fact is, Caldwell just did Tebow a favor by conveying what so many others – including Rex Ryan, most recently – have refused to say: the way Tebow plays quarterback right now doesn't work in the NFL. |

| Although I really wanted Tim Tebow, I am now back on the Geno Smith at pick 2 bandwagon. I am now hoping that the Chiefs don't touch him. Was Matthew Stafford having a great year at Georgia when he went #1 overall? Sam Bradford was supposed to be the #1 pick but he returned back to college. |

I don't think Geno will be picked in the top 5 I think Jags are going to build from the Defense out. And for good reason you go for the best player available Caldwell seems pretty smart I don't think he is going to draft a QB that is not elite at a number 2 spot with all that defensive talent on the board |

Hit the nail on the head. Geno smith will not be able to come in here immediately and make an impact. i would be happy with him or barkley at #33, although he most likely wont make it to that spot. |

There are those who would rather win 2-3 games a season than be a playoff contender with Tim Tebow
I'm just curious who Jaguar fans do want at QB
I've seen several on this site say that Vick isn't starter quality either
Then who is that's available??? |

What the hell don't you understand about the fact that Tebow won't make us a playoff contender? _________________
