It really is a shame. He's got the natural talent to be the best WR in the league.

What a moron. You can tell the guy is just going to be one of those people who won't get 'it' until he literally hits rock bottom. Yet another case of wasted talent ... I have no doubt someone else will give him a chance should the Titans do the right thing and get rid of him, but I don't expect him to change any time soon.

Too bad Kenny Britt and Tiquan Underwood couldn't have combined their skills with Tiquan's character. Would have been a sick WR.

maybe he just shows out in Falcons games, but Underwood is a very good slot man. He has the worst haircut ever though.

Shame to see such a talented guy mess up like this. I guess he's out of the league after this.

So, do the Titans go with draft or FA to fill this soon-to-be-hole? I can't see anything that would lead me to believe that Britt will be a Titan next season. When the police are saying "Hey, Bud Adams...can you give us a ring, we REALLY need to know where your employee is," you know that this isn't going to end well for Britt.

There are some scary options in both FA and the draft - Dwayne Bowe or Mike Wallace on the Titans would be excellent pickups and would be able to replace Britt's inconsistent production rather quickly. The draft guys are a bit of a crapshoot, but you have two local kids being touted as first rounders in Justin Hunter and Corradelle Patterson. Da'Rick Rogers is also a "local" talent, but would he be the same type of distraction that Britt is?

Take heart, Titania. Replacing Britt should be pretty easy.

That would affect us bad if that happened. That means one less WR would be available when we pick, but on 2nd thought I wouldnt mind them actually picking a WR instead of going the FA route. Laughing

It would also mean that the Titans would be forced to burn a very high pick on a player that wouldn't improve on their 30ish ranked defense. The offensive pieces are there for this team to be good. The defense? They still need 2-3 guys in there that will be impactful guys, and this forces their hand to go elsewhere, or to spend FA dollars on a guy they had no reason to sign prior to this incident.

That works for me. Very Happy

I lol'd at this little gem.

As for the story, I thought* he learned to stop hanging around the wrong crowd. Not sure his involvement but after the last incident in NJ I thought there were stories about how he's learned to distance himself from trouble.

Seems not...
