1. Kansas City Chiefs - Star Lotuleilei DT Utah
I believe the Chiefs are not going to go with Geno, and instead go after a guy like Barkley. Instead, they take the #1 prospect in the draft, and we know Reid loves him some D-linemen.
2. Jacksonville Jaguars - Geno Smith QB West Virginia
The Jgas are thrilled Smith is here, and take him, because they obviously have chalked Gabbert into the loss category.
3. Oakland Raiders - Damontre Moore DE Texas A&M
The Raiders reach to fill their biggest need. They would go with Joeckel if they had a 2nd rounder.
4. Philadelphia Eagles - Luke Joeckel OT Texas A&M
The Eagles had lots of injuries at OT, leaving it as a huge question mark. They add the top player left on the board here, and get an anchor.
5. Detroit Lions - Jarvis Jones OLB Georgia
The Lions want playmakers on defense, and Jones is the top guy in that categery in this draft.
6. Cleveland Browns - Bjoern Werner DE Florida State
I think the Browns will give Weeden another shot, so they instead take the top defender left on the board.
7. Buffalo Bills - Dee Millner CB Alabama
Not a whole lot of good on the board, they Bills opt to add another great CB prospect, giving them two good young studs at a valueable position.
8. Arizona Cardinals - Barkevious Mingo DE LSU
With good options at QB later in the 1st round, the Cards take Mingo, who has huge potential.
9. New York Jets - Dion Jordan DE Oregon
The Jets fill their biggest need, here. Jordan is a pretty easy pick.
10. Tennessee Titans - Sheldon Richardson DT Missouri
The Titans have a gaping hole at DT. Richardson rounds out their D-line very nicely.
11. San Diego Chargers - Eric Fisher OT Central Michigan
The Chargers need to rebuild the offensive line, which stunted their offense.
12. Miami Dolphins - Chance Warmack G Alabama
Not a lot of good options on the board, so the Dolphins go with the top player on the board.
13. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Jonathon Hankins DT Ohio State
The Bucs would like to add a big DT to pair with McCoy.
14. Carolina Panthers - Jonathon Banks CB Mississippi State
Maybe a reach, btu the Panthers need a CB really bad.
15. New Orleans Saints - Sam Montgomery DE LSU
The Saints DEs underwhelmed, they go with the local kid to rebuild the pass rush.
16. St. Louis Rams - Manti Teo LB Notre Dame
The Rams have a huge need at OLB. Teo is a good fit there in their defense.
17. Pittsburgh Steelers - Alec Ogletree ILB Georgia
Slight reach, but the Steelers need to get younger at LB.
18. Dallas Cowboys - Ezekhial Ansah DE BYU
The Cowboys are looking for their JPP.
19. New York Giants - Kawaan Short DT Purdue
Another reach, but the Giants need a DT if they want their D-line to be the focal point of their defense again.
20. Chicago Bears - Tyler Eifert TE Notre Dame
The Bears reach for Eifert, who fills a big need at TE.
21. Cincinatti Bengals - Keenan Allen WR Cal
The Bengals would like to add a LB or DE, but dont want to reach. They instead make their passing game stronger.
22. St. Louis Rams - Terrance Williams WR Baylor
The Rams really need a legit #1 WR.
23. Minnesota Vikings - Cordarrelle Patterson WR Tennessee
The Vikings continue the WR run. They, also, have a huge need for a #1 WR.
24. Indianapolis Colts - Jonathon Cooper G North Carolina
The Colts are weak everywhere on the line, so they take the top lineman available.
25. Seattle Seahawks - Alex Okafer DE Texas
Clemons tore his ACL, the Hawks need a backup plan.
26. Green Bay Packers - Eddie Lacy RB Alabama
The Packers had a carosel at RB last year, so they take the top RB on the board. Lacy will be a star.
27. Houston Texans - Mike Glennon QB NC State
With the way Schaub played at the end of the year, I think the Texans will be looking to 'groom' their next franchise QB.
28. Denver Broncos - Sylvester Williams DT North Carolina
The Broncos defense is strong, but they need to get younger at DT.
29. Baltimore Ravens - Kevin Minter ILB LSU
Replacement for Lewis. Simple as that.
30. Atlanta Falcons - Jonathon Jenkins DT Georgia
BPA pick here. Jenkins is unique with his size and agility. Reminds me of Wilfork.
31. San Fransisco 49ers - Xavier Rhodes CB Florida State
The 49ers are weak at CB, so they take Rhodes, who has the tools to be great.
32. New England Patriots - Logan Ryan CB Rutgers
The Pats are weak at CB, so they try to shore it up. _________________

28. Denver Broncos - Sylvester Williams DT North Carolina
The Broncos defense is strong, but they need to get younger at DT.
We need secondary help before addressing the d line. _________________

Ansah or a trade back for Pittsburgh. Ogletree is likely going to be there when we pick again at #49...
Also -

What? Talib, McCourty (playing safety, but still a good CB) and Dennard... how are they weak at CB? Their CB's are probably the best of the bunch in all of the NFL. _________________ Come Follow My Oakland Multi-Sport Franchise! |

Milliner / Gilmore could potentially be a Cromartie / Revis type that Pettine had with Jets. Most Bills fans ate excited about Ron Brooks second year as Nickel too.

Can't complain about the position, although I'd rather Ansah. _________________

Eifert got exposed against Bama. The Bears would take either Minter, Cooper, Rhodes, or Allen.

With the Browns switching to a 3-4 Werner isn't really a good fit. The next three players to come off the board are all better fits.

Eh I get the pick to pair with McCoy but we'd have to sign two legit corners. Have to go Banks or Rhodes there, a trade down and getting Rhodes would be perfect IMO _________________

Allen would be interesting, especially if we use free agency to fill a few other needs. He and AJ would definitely do damage with the other Wrs in the slot. _________________

CHIEFS: Yes Reid does loves his DLinemen and yes the Chiefs may indeed go that direction w/the #1 pick. However, if they don't resign Albert(good chance of that)then look for them to take Joeckel OT. They may take him anyway, BPA, because of the value of OT and players like Joeckel don't come along all the time.
