The Jets should and would draft Lacy in the second round. Other than that you pretty much mocked a perfect draft for the Jets. I like most of the FA signings too, but I really don't see the Jets signing Vick. They also can't afford Bowe. Nassib will be gone before the third round. _________________

| CHIEFS: John Dorsey doesn't posture. He says what he means. BPA. Now if that turns out to be Smith in his mind, I will disagree but trust him. Dorsey knows what he is doing. |

I didn't like all I the picks, and is prefer to go
2. Elam
3. Porter
But it's a pretty good draft overall.
Motta in the sixth is... We have plenty of depth at S, especially after we draft Reid. I'd prefer an OG there. We didn't really fix the OL, I'd like a couple OGs and an OT in FA. _________________

Ok, so the first 2 picks for the Redskins were good in Poyer and Rambo.
Then you went a bit crazy.
You have the Redskins selecting 2 TE's. When we have 3 on the roster all ready. Waste. We need more secondary depth and depth at DE.
In the 5th round you have us taking another OG when took 2 last year. OG is the least of our worries on OL, a mid round RT would be just fine.
In Round 4 you have the Redskins taking a TE, Chris Cragg, who I have never heard of and is not on many top 200 boards when Kevin Reddick is sitting right there for the taking, Dont think the Redskins hesitate on Kevin Reddick. Especially for a TE.
Albert Rosette, is most likely to go UDFA.
Give me Marcus Davis, WR, Virginia Tech or Rashard Hall, FS, Clemson.
In the 7th, another TE, I would take Michael Williams from Alabama. Not the scrub you have listed. _________________

The Patriots will almost certainly franchise Welker.
| Quote: | April 25-27, 2013: NFL DRAFT
Buffalo Trades #8 and #39 to Oakland for #3
Philadelphia Trades #36 and #66 to Indianapolis for #28
Miami Trades #74 and #108 to Oakland for #65
Atlanta Trades #60 and #92 to Dallas for #48
San Francisco Trades #184 and #224 to Cleveland for #178 |
The Patriots will make trades. It's in BB's nature.
| Quote: |
32 New England Jonathan Cooper OG
The Patriots could add some insurance on the interior of the line. Cooper is a value pick.
62 New England Marcus Wheaton WR
94 New England Kiko Alanso ILB
222 New England (from Tampa Bay) David Bass DE
241 Tampa Bay (via New England, Talib) Lane Taylor OG |
It wasn't a swap of 7s, it was NE's 4 for Talib + a 7.
Moreover, Alanso seems like a waste of a pick given who the Pats already have at ILB/MLB.
All in all, I can't say I'm enthused. On the whole, the Patriots end up only slightly better than where they are now. _________________

ILB at number six is an automatic fail. We have the 2nd most cap space with a new Owner and new coach who want to make a difference and not 1 big name FA. Unless Kevin Minter is the next - Butkus or Ray Lewis or Von Miller then no thanks. Trade down and see what we could get. I would rather draft a QB then an ILB at six and I don't want to draft a QB. _________________

Kevin Minter is not, he plays very passive aggressive. Cannot shed blocks and is out of position on a lot of plays. He is no better than a 3rd rounder and I dont understand how people think that he is a 1st round prospect. _________________

20 Chicago Manti Te'o ILB
50 Chicago Oday Aboushi OT
116 Chicago Travis Kelce TE
155 Chicago Blaize Foltz OG
191 Chicago Taimi Tutogi FB
First 4 picks are fine. We have no need for a FB, we drafted one last year. WR, D-lineman, CB are better choices here
229 Chicago Marcus Lattimore RB
TB owns this pick
With only 5 picks, trading down is likely to happen for us. _________________ Adopt a Bear:

one of the best mocks ever!! love the bucs getting Banks and Rhodes!
the 2 changes i would make is instead of Otten give the bucs Dion Sims and the the fullback pick i dont understand Lorig had a great season give the bucs a WR like Rodney Smith FSU |

If the Buccs first 2 picks go that route I'm a happy guy. Also like the Lester pick. Don't know much about the TE you gave us and not a fan of EJ buts all good. Don't need a FB but if we could come out of this draft with some late round speed in place of one of thsoe picks that would be great. All in all good Buccs draft. _________________

I have to agree that the Eagles' trade up makes no sense for a few reasons. Barkley isn't exactly a Chip Kelly prototype, so to give up 2 picks to move up on a team that needs to rebuild badly doesn't make a ton of sense. Also, why the trade up? Seattle, Green Bay, Houston, Denver, Baltimore, Atlanta, San Francisco, New England (rest of 1st round) no way are taking Barkley. KC just took Geno. Give up 2 picks just to jump Jacksonville?!? _________________
