I wouldn't consider taking a HB in Round 1 and I don't understand why you would take Lacy there. _________________

They have Warmack going way earlier than the Rams picks |
Lacy at 16? How did this dude get a job |
Well, you know. By being a pretty good scout in the NFL for 30 years? |

Not sure if your serious or not, but he was a scout for the Dallas Cowboys. When they won a bunch of those Super Bowls...... |

Be that as it may, he's almost 80 now and just did a terrible mock for us. _________________ Welcome to the LA Rams

I would be happy with Eddie Lacy as our second rounder, but taking him at 16 is just way too high. He is a good player and we could definitely use a future runningback, but he's not talented enough to warrant a mid-first and RB just simply isn't that important of a position anymore in today's NFL. We have bigger fish to fry, like OL, OLB, S, and WR. |

There is a lot to like about Eddie Lacy. He is a smart runner, knows how to follow his blocks and does a good job at anticipating holes opening. He has some elusiveness for such a big runner, occasionally flashing a decent spin move, and a decent stutter step. He runs downhill and falls forward more often than not.
This roster could use a RB like him (I prefer SJax), but pick 16 is way too high. I'll be pissed if we make that move. _________________

I might be pissed if we took him in the 2nd even. To think of the talent at real need positions we'd have to pass up to do that. I'm in the minority, but I think a split of Richardson and Pead nets us at least as many yards at Jax last year, and likely more receptions/passing yards.
The problem I see with it is pass blocking. I honestly don't know where they are at in that department. _________________ Welcome to the LA Rams

Well, I think he might have Eddie Lacy confused with Eddie George _________________ Stan Kroenke listens to Nickelback |

All those boneheads are sittin in a half a bowl of soggy cornflakes looking for someone to throw them a marshmellow ! ! !
Fisher and Co. will do what they do best, trade (1) or both picks for more picks in the next 50 players , try their best to land the BEST player that THEY see as the top guy at OL, Safety , DT , OLB .
They'll resign Amendola , for the sake of 1 more year, or we'll get another WR who can add to the yard marker. |

Agreed. For years now, "draft analysts" have failed to do their homework when projecting the Ram's selections. _________________

why would drafting Keenan Allen mean no more Amendola? Honestly I'd pass on Allen I like Williams, Hopkins, and Wheaton far more. |

He does have a nice spin move and is able to gain extra yards, but I don't think he's going to be a superstar in the NFL or anything like that. Should be a 2nd round guy at highest, but the BCS game and Alabama's incredible OL has elevated his draft stock higher than it should be imo. |
Mark Ingram was a MUCH better prospect than Lacy, and he was one of the last first round picks. I cannot comprehend in the slightest why Lacy would be taken at 16...it just makes absolutely no sense. |
Ingram has nowhere near the athleticism that Lacy has though. Lacy's footwork/foot speed >>>>> Ingram's. |
Ingram's footwork was impeccable. And he had better balance, vision and could break more tackles than Lacy.

I'm not saying the game hasn't passed by Brandt by or that he's perfect but he got the job because he was one of scouting's greatest innovators and worked nearly 3 decades alongside Tom Landry and Tex Schramm running the Cowboys Scouting/Personnel department. _________________
