I like the hire for Jacksonville. He just needs to hire a good OC and QB Coach.

Why would they switch to a 3-4...? Bradley ran a 4-3 in Seattle...
I think they ran both, switching between the two depending on what they wanted to do. Seattle fans can probably better explain that.

Poz will be fine in that type of scheme.

Even if it is somewhat of a hybrid, I doubt the Jags will go to a straight 3-4, haha. I wouldn't worry about the defense changing if I was a Jaguars fan.

Bradley's roots are in the tampa-2 scheme, but he has been running Pete Caroll's 4-3 under scheme for the last 3 years. My guess would be he incorporates aspects of both in his defense, but it will be a 4-3 scheme.

Fantastic hire. Of all the coaching hires this off season this is one of the better ones and the only defensive coach hire out of the seven openings. I would have liked for my Bears to hire him if they were going to go the defensive route for a new head coach. Bradley is one of the up and coming coaches in the league. He just needs to hire a competent OC.

And per usual the Bidwells are dragging their feet as the Cardinals are the last team to be hiring a new HC. Big shocker there.

I dont see a Hire this offseason that I just flat out dont like. Obviously the Marone one was kinda out of left field, but it makes sense when you think about it, and Im not sure how Chud will do in Cleveland, but it makes sense as a hire.

Surprised no one bit on Arians, especially after this season.

Once again Mike Zimmer gets passed over, someone needs to give him a shot.

But I like this fit for JAX, build up that budding defense. Stay competitive while trying to find a QB somewhere and they shouldnt be that far off.

I know Pete said he was just giving Bradley glowing reviews but it seemed like he was trying to push him out the door lol.

LOL, who cares? In 04 we were one of the first teams to make a hire if not the first and we ended up with Dennis Green. There is absolutely zero correlation between successful head coaches and time period of hire. Zero.

Back to the actual topic, I think Jacksonville hit a home run here, assuming his offensive coaches are up to snuff. Heard Whiz as a candidate for offensive coordinator.

Bradley ran a 4-3 in Seattle, but Pete Carroll's LEO defense also brings some 3-4 looks.

I think that Bradley will run a defense closer to the Tampa-2 system that he knows from when he coached at Tampa Bay, with some elements of what he learned from Pete.

Good luck to him in Jacksonsville.

Love the hire. Think he should have waited for something better.

Jacksonville requested permission from New Orleans to interview Pete Carmichael Jr for its OC job. New Orleans still wants to re-sign him.
