No thank you. I don't think TB would have taken him before the fake girlfriend stuff, but especially not after. I would much rather prefer Johnthan Banks or Jonathan Hankins at that point.
Quote: | 43. Tampa Bay - Mike Glennon, QB (North Carolina State) |
I doubt he'll be there for that pick, but that's besides the point. I think TB gives Freeman one more year. If he doesn't improve next year they will probably replace him in the 2014 draft. Another CB could be taken here. Someone like Logan Ryan, Jordan Poyer or David Amerson.
Quote: | 73. Tampa Bay - Baccari Rambo, FS (Georgia) |
I like this pick for TB. We need a FS to replace Ronde Barber who is probably going to retire. Rambo and Barron should create a nice safety combo. For what its worth though I think Benny Logan is a lot better value in round 3.
Quote: | 109. Tampa Bay - Blidi Wreh-Wilson, CB (Connecticut) |
Since I think we will address CB much earlier than round 4, this pick will probably not happen. Here I wouldn't mind someone like Kiko Alonso to take over at MLB and allow Mason Foster to move back to OLB.
Quote: | 125. Tampa Bay - Jelani Jenkins, OLB (Florida) |
If we didn't make the Alonso pick then I like this pick which would put Jenkins at OLB and leave Foster at MLB. But if the Alonso pick happened I would instead prefer to take our safety here, possibly a Zeke Motta
Quote: | 140. Tampa Bay - Ryan Otten, TE (San Jose State) |
Pretty good pick as we need a TE. |
good break down sir, that pretty much sums it up. Can't afford to wait til the 4th round to select a CB. Also dont think a rookie QB is the answer to push Freeman unless its a EJ Manuel later in the draft. David Garrard makes a ton of sense _________________

Ok Bengals draft. I would prefer Arthur Brown over Lacy, then give us Bernard and Jelani Jenkins in the 4th. _________________

Why are you giving the Titans 2 OT's? You do realize they have the best OT duo in the league in Michael Roos and David Stewart? Star Lotulelei should be the pick in the 1st. In the 2nd I'd change if from Hunt to Ezekial Ansah because Ansah would be a DE and Hunt would be a DT which wouldn't be a need after the Star pick. The 3rd and 4th are perfect but change the 5th to an annual need like depth at LB with Gerald Hodges. _________________

49ers:
30. San Francisco - Johnthan Banks, CB (Mississippi State)
60. San Francisco - Zach Ertz, TE (Stanford)
74. San Francisco - Kawann Short, DE (Purdue)
92. San Francisco - D.J. Swearinger, FS (South Carolina)
124. San Francisco - Denard Robinson, WR (Michigan)
150. San Francisco - Braxston Cave, C (Notre Dame)
156. San Francisco - Bruce Taylor, ILB (Virginia Tech)
would make me a lot happier... |

Interesting mock. Can't see Star dropping out of top 10.
Wouldn't mind this for the Dolphins. I would be happy with Ansah in 1st so to grab him in second would be tidy.
Addressed a number of Dolphins needs too. _________________

Very nice overall. However, Dion Sims is unlikely to pass the infamous "Falcons Filter":

so perhaps Gavin Escobar or Ryan Otten in that slot.
Otherwise, very sound in terms of need and decent value on the 1st 3 picks. |

Excellent draft for the Panthers. The only thing I would change would be to get Kenny Vaccarro in the 2nd. _________________

I like the Chiefs selections but I am really not so sure about Wilson falling THAT far. I really think he is going to be a first round pick when all is said and done. Ace Sanders in the 5th is a great pick. |
Really? I must say I am surprised, I thought Chief fans would be pissed at the first round selection since most Chief fans wanted Geno Smith since Matt Cassel sucks | Yeah, that was before Smith started to "suck" himself, esp. in the Bowl game. Smith will need the combine and his pro day to even get into the 1st round. IMO, Smith really hurt his chances by not going to the Senior Bowl. |

Joeckel is a very good pick because of 5 reasons: 1. Albert UFA Will he resign 2. Albert had back problems last part of season and didn't play. 3. Stephenson was drafted by Pioli and Crennell. Ried and Dorsey may have a different idea for there OL. 4. You said it Winston at RT. Joeclel is a LT. 5. Depth |

Let's face it, we didn't get the #1 overall pick becuase we had a great team. However, since we can tag Albert, if we let him walk, we would be creating another hole. I'm not a fan of creating a hole so we can draft a replacement. I don't believe Albets back is that much of an issue. If we don't like Stephenson (who played well last year) then we can draft depth in the 3rd round. The massive holes we have are: QB, MLB, S, 3-4 DE, and WR. Minor holes are: OLB (depth), TE.
Given the talent in the draft I wouldn't be opposed to getting our 3-4 DE or QB with our first pick. _________________
