As a Steelers fan you should be glad he's related. It's not easy replacing a walking legend and encyclopedia at DC. Just ask the Eagles and Jim Johnson. _________________

I really do love Lebeau, I shouldn't sound so negative. But he in the last few years he is shown an unwillingness to change and he loves to sit the young guys and play is vets until the wheels fall off. But trust me I would take him over Juan Castillo anyday |

The main reason many Steeler fans want LeBeau to retire is because we are clinging onto the past. LeBeau will be 76. He isnt going to coach much longer. Since we are starting to draft the new defense, it would be smarter to do that with a new DC who can bring in their own players. But with LeBeau, we will continue to draft players for his defense, which very well may not fit into a new DCs plan.
I think we all know that the Steelers will never "replace" LeBeau.....but Id rather start the rebuilding now rather than continuing to cling to the past, which is clealry starting to catch up with us.
The longer the Steelers wait, the harder its going to be.
LeBeau deserves to leave on his own terms though. I respect as much, but wish he would call it a day. _________________

Fire Jerry, bring in Ray.
And I would partially forgive this terribad front office for the moves this offseason thus far. _________________

At least you guys could get Clowney or Bridgewater next year.

Top notch staff if that happens. Browns certainly won't be lacking in coaching if thats true. |

What LOL, if anything they should of made that guy Head Coach. I would ruin my entire jort collection if we signed Ray Horton as DC for the Eagles. I imagine tho Horton wont stay unemployed very long. _________________

that would be huge for the Browns. I think they need to keep one system though...I feel like every 2-3 year they change from 4-3 to 3-4 back to 4-3. |

We've ran a 4-3 for only 2 years. We ran a 3-4 for quite a few years before. |
