What LOL, if anything they should of made that guy Head Coach. I would ruin my entire jort collection if we signed Ray Horton as DC for the Eagles. I imagine tho Horton wont stay unemployed very long.

Dude Sixtah...the city would be a guacfest if we got him.

Only negative is yea he'd likely leave in a year or two..

Just going to reiterate what I first reported earlier tonight. still sounds like Todd Bowles ends up in AZ and Ray Horton ends up in CLE

that would be huge for the Browns. I think they need to keep one system though...I feel like every 2-3 year they change from 4-3 to 3-4 back to 4-3.

We've ran a 4-3 for only 2 years. We ran a 3-4 for quite a few years before.

I know if you had to guess what would be the front 7?

Taylor-Rubin-Rucker/Winn?

Draft pick?-Jackson-Maiava-Sheard

Just curious how you thought the pieces would fit

Replace Maiava with Gocong and you're spot on.

Gocong wouldn't play OLB? He was quite a prolific pass rusher in college.

I thought he struggled as a pass rusher since he got in the league. I always thought he performed best as a 4-3 SLB?

Would love for the Steelers to bring him back and replace Lebeau. Unfortunately, Lebeau is related to the crypt keeper and will coach until the world ends.

That's true. Our family may not age well, but we're not going away any time soon.

Eagles still need a defensive coordinator if I remember correctly, they might be a good fit for him.

Yep....and Kelly reportedly wants to go to the 3-4.

It fits

Hopefully Kelly has already made the call.

I dont understand why they would let him go. He is one of the best DCs in the league. Frankly, I'm shocked.

Looking from the outside in, Horton is probably hot competition for Bruce Arians (in case things get rough early on, and the fans/media call for Horton to be promoted). Also, he may not get along with Bruce Arians.
