| I just went back and looked at those drafts from 91 - 95 and the only decent players they drafted were: Michael Jackson WR, James Jones DT, Pio Sagapolutele DT, Derrick Alexander WR and they all were back up and rotational players that were on multiple teams. These Browns fans have right to be upset, was Mike or Bill the final say on these picks? |

Once again, no he didnt.
Anderson looked "good" maybe 4 games that entire season. The rest of the season he was average or worse.
This isnt even meant to hate on Chud. I just wish people would quit saying Derek Anderson was good under him. |
Hahaha. I think you might be the only guy who hates DA more than me on this forum, you make this point in every thread where DA is mentioned. I also get angry when people spout off about that being a good season. Fluky is a better word. He had a game like 11/25 for 135 yards and 3 TDs. Braylon Edwards was making gnarly catches all year (remember his toe dance against your Steelers?). He had at least 20 TDs against poor defenses and we didn't even really beat anyone noteworthy taht year aside from a down Raven's squad and a decent Seahawks team. DA's 4 INT's against Cinci are the sole reason we didn't make the playoffs.

This hiring sucks. He's not officially the GM so hopefully he doesn't have the rights a GM normally would. In the press conference, Banner and company were saying that it would be a collective decision when it came to final say on things.
As of right now, I'm not happy at all with this hiring. But I'll give him a chance. I won't judge him until free agency and the draft is over.

Hopefully he's worse than the past Browns regime, and will trade a first round pick for Joe Webb.
Seriously, what a horrible hire. I honestly don't think I've heard one smart thing from him on NFLN. Sometimes he'd talk about other people's facts and breaking news, but that was it.
