After making the playoffs every year since his rookie season and winning at least one playoff game each time, Flacco will appear in his first Super Bowl.
Where is his legacy now and where could it end?
Most Playoff Victories By Active Quarterbacks
Tom Brady 17-7
Ben Roethlisberger 10-4
Peyton Manning 9-11
Eli Manning 8-3
Joe Flacco 8-4 _________________ Legends Never Die. They Breathe Through The New Generation.

Possibly Eliesque. Inconsistent in the regular season, beast in the post season. _________________

It will depend upon if he wins in 2 weeks. But I do believe his performance in these playoffs has upped his rankings overall. _________________

You know, his only actual bad year was last year.
He's a good quarterback. _________________

If he wins the SuperBowl, he's Eli Manning; good regular season QB who just elevates to the next level in the playoffs. _________________

| Do you ever get tired of making these threads? He's in his 5th year... What legacy? He presumably has another 10 years or so left in this league, why is this being brought up? |

He cemented himself as financially secure after this win. _________________

He was carried by his teams in the early years, but has developed into a great player.
The Ravens built their team exactly how you want to build it. They had a great, veteran defense, and drafted a young QB. They started him right away, and the defense carried the team as Flacco matured and got better.
Now, right as the older guys are starting to go away, Flacco has developed into the type of guy who can lead the team. _________________

Agreed. Ravens did a great job of developing him and getting him weapons. _________________

He's not that great in the regular season, but elevates it to the next level in the POs. And that's really important. _________________

Lets not get carried away. He was outstanding today, and this could be the game that takes him to a different level, but lets not act like Flacco wasn't carried by his team early in his career. I mean the Ravens won a playoff game with Flacco going 4-10 for 34 yards and a pick. _________________ Equal Opportunity Hater

Also, those blaming Cam Cameron are somewhat vindicated. _________________

| Already established some history. Most road playoff victories as a starting QB. |

Nothing more to be said on my part that isn't already obvious. Joe is taking the reigns of this team now that Cam Cameron is gone, and he's proving everyone wrong.
Can't wait to see what the future has in store for the Ravens with Flacco at the helm. _________________
