Good on him and all, but he is the 3rd alternative. _________________

Because he was playing his best football at the end of games, unlike Romo.
But seriously, I do not like how Romo does in big games. That final Redskins game was just sad. _________________ [quote="aceinthehouse"]

Actually, Romo plays very well towards the end of games. It's his inability to show up the first 3 quarters that typically hurts the Cowboys. They had more comebacks than anyone this season.
Agreed on the second part though. _________________

Really? Huh, the more you know. I watched a decent amount of Cowboy games though, and I didn't like Romo's performance too much. The best day I watched him have was oddly against the Hawks in week 2, the numbers are extremely misleading, he was pretty stellar against the Hawks D. A total pain in the butt to sack. Witten just kept dropping balls, probably due to his spleen.
And to add to the thread, here's Wilson on his way to the pro bowl:

Does Kirby refer to his wife who has quite the terrifying mouth?

In 2009/2010 was my favorite pro bowl... Schaub, Garrard and Vince Young all made the pro bowl as alternates.... 2005/2006, Trent Green, Plummer and McNair also played in the pro bowl as alternates.
2010/2011 was also a good year, in the NFC, Willis and Urlacher didn't go, so their alternates were Fletcher and Vilma, who also decided not to play, so Henderson and Hawk were their alternates... Hawk I believe was the 4th alternate, which is the only time that there was ever a 4th alternate for a pro bowl that I'm aware of.
Every few years you'll get a position were a ton of alternates end up making. _________________ Kickers are people too |
