How often do we when seeing a PI over and over again still not agree if it was the right call or not.
You have to accept the officials judgement whether you agree with it or not. |

I get that PI is controversial and nearly half of those calls could go either way or not be called at all. But, you can't allow coaches to challenge those type of calls..... It's a judgment call anyway.. the coaches will never see it the way the refs do.
I would like to see a replay booth official be able to buzz down to the field official and say.. that was a bad PI call.. double check with the ref who threw the flag and make sure he is positive.. something like that would be a welcome addition... IMO |

Sure, let's have the games last 5 hours instead of 3. _________________

Or even the ones that extend a drive, like a pass on 4th and 3 that gets called for DPI.
I think the real question here is should a non-penalty be challengable? AKA, you think there was pass interference but it wasn't called? |
No, I don't think that should be challengable _________________

Honestly, I wouldn't mind if they got rid of all replays outside of TDs and TOs.
Less, not more. |

God no.
Wouldnt be opposed to having a guy in the booth who can call down real quick and reverse crappy calls, though. As long as it isnt too time consuming. Theres enough replay as is. _________________

It used to be that everything was a judgement call, now we have Challenges. I think especially when you're talking about a huge game-changer like the Defensive Passer Interference, there should be a way for the coaches to Challenge. Espessially since Challenges this year seem more pointless due to turnovers/touchdowns automatically being reviewed. _________________ With much cheese,

You wouldn't be increasing the number of challenges, only increasing the number of challengable calls. Obviously game time would increase slightly but 5 hours is a huge stretch.

I agree that many PI calls are judgement calls, but there are certainly cases (such as a jersey grab with the ball in the air) where there isn't room for subjectivity. Coaches will have to be judicious with challenges, like always.
I want to reiterate that there will have to be indisputable evidence to overturn, but with the pass to Douglas in the 4th quarter maybe I don't trust them to make the right call. _________________

I think it just slows the game down, but they need to get the call right _________________
