Not a bad 1st round pick for the jets
But how does both Dion jordan AND Ezekiel ansah fall to the 2nd? I dont think either will make it past pick #20 |

Both prospects are pretty raw, furthermore Jordan has a hard time keeping weight on his 6'7" frame.
There is always a surprise or two... or three every draft and talents always fall to the 2nd some how and I think both of them could easily fall. _________________

I agree but Jordan hasnt tried putting on weight yet so I dunno if you have info I dont. But defensive ends always go early and often. Also, behind Jordan/ansah theres a nice drop off in talent to okefor/lumonier
As of now my rankings go:
De: moore, werner, Jones, Jordan, ansah, Montgomery, okefor, lumonier.... id love for the jets to have a shot at Jordan/ansah/okefor in the 2nd... But I just personally think the top 5 de's will be gone by the 30th pick
You can always have the jets trade down then, id rather ansah at 33 with extra picks then Jarvis Jones at #9
Also see your a rams fan... I dont think Tennessee will let chance womack go, rams will most likely have to trade up to get Womack |

Everyone said the same thing about DeCastro last year
If Jarvis Jones falls to the jets at 9, he will be the pick no doubt.
If Dee Mill falls to the titans at 10, he will be the pick. _________________

We have to be the only team with a franchise LT that people want to give another one too.
have you seen us play defense last year? why? _________________

I am right there with you, honestly I am. I have been confused since day one of mocking with all the Joeckel going to philly because Jason Peters is the best OT in the NFL (IMO). However there are a few good reasons that make is legitimate once you look into it. Peters who is 30... Coming off a more than serious injury being his achilles as you obviously know. You never know what he will be like when he returns. You can always move one of the two tackles to RT moving Todd Herremans to OG.
I fully expect, if they were smart-- a trade down and try and snag some defense which is what I would do. But at the moment Joeckel does make sense. _________________

Peters has already had 8 months to heal as of today, he will have over a year of heal time before training camp. He got hurt so early last year he should be ok.
I also don't think using a top 5 pick to play musical chairs to essentially fix a hole at right guard is a smart use of the resource. _________________

I agree, if that is the route they would like to go why not take Chance Warmack? One of the few (if not the only) true ELITE prospects in this class. _________________

the 49ers would have no need for a tight end. they have Davis and Walker. _________________

Bernard at 21 is a reach, and the Bengals don't need a back enough to TAKE one in 1, let alone reach for one. _________________ 2013 Draft Needs: RB, Safety. Maybe RT and backup LBs |
