The Harbaugh's are a two generation family of players and coaches. But the more you read the more this is going to be The Harbrawl.
When Jack Harbaugh would drop his sons John and Jim off at school, he would tell them "Attack this day with an enthusiasm unknown to mankind"
One played for Bowling Green U., another for Miami U. (Ohio) and the third for U. of Michigan.
Jim Harbaugh once tried to punch Bills QB Jim Kelly, missed and broke his hand. Now thats a Bears QB on all counts.
Bears coach Mike Ditka once thought that since Jim Harbaugh wasn't starting, he should make tackles on ST's. Like it was done in the 1940's and '50's. And so he did.
Jim Harbaugh started his Bears career as backup to SB winner Jim McMahon, left the Colts as they drafted Peyton Manning and finished his career with the Ravens.
After a snafu at a recent NFL draft, John Harbaugh said "the Bears are just not honest".
They all advocate team, team, team. And good clean, hardnosed football.
Yikes! _________________ "I have to keep playing so people over 40 will have somebody to root for on Sunday afternoons." George Blanda who played until he was 46 |
