All those things you mentioned Orakpo isn't as Good at I and others have refuted, saying he's better than you are evaluating.

On top of that, you don't give up pro bowl type players in their prime unless they dont want to be with your team and are creating Problems, yiu build around you assets, not trade them away in building a team. We haven't had a good tandem of two good pass rushers like Orakpo and Kerrigan on this team since Manley and Mann in the late 80s, and early 90s and you are willing to give that up?

No thanks and Orakpo is not even tradeable tight now because of his pectoral injuries.

This whole thing will not happen.

But Revis is with his ACL?

This trade makes perfect sense, turtle.

Both teams trade with equal and presumed risks for BOTH sides.

If Orakpo is not tradeable because of pectoral injuries.
Then how the hell do the Jets expect to land a two 1st rounders for Revis?
Or a 1st & and a 2nd?
Or a 1st and a 3rd?

EXACTLY..They're not.
Which is why I think we can get him from a player-to-player deal.

Rex and the Jets could potentially get a good pass rusher in Orakpo, which THEY NEED. How many times have we heard all yr? "Jets have no pass rusher...."

Jets also get a QB that will likely beat out the untradeable or uncuttable Sanchez in K. Cousins.
Who is 4th rd money cheap for them.

We land the best CB in the NFL and a QB nobody wants, who is absolutely perfect for the system we run here.
The Pistol/read option.

If anything...
This trade makes too much sense.

As bad as the jets were they had a really good defense...The jets need skill players!!! Quntin Couples is a stud FYI! The jets want Draft picks to restock the shelves! They have no skill p[layers on offense other than Holmes. Also, the jets want to get rid of Revis because they know they cant resign him for the crazy ammount of money he will be asking for....guess what we cant either!!!!

i Don't want a cb coming off an acl injury, even Revis. There is no guarantee he will ever be the same and Tebow shouldn't be in the league anymore. He's not accurate enough and he brings a circus of fans with him that ruins team chemistry. We have rg3 and the best kind of young back up in Cousins. He could maybe start elsewhere but he doesn't complain, he just does what he's asked and says all the right things. Kirk is perfect for this team and he's hard working but humble just like rg3. He's exactly what we need in a back up and he doesn't bring a circus of fans who will demand he starts.

As for Revis and the Jets. He's under contract, so he's going to eventually play for them this season. Possibly he'll hold out again, which he'd do for us also because he doesn't like the contract he jus signed two years ago. Wtf... Seriously? Twisted Evil

You guys don't remember, but I do.

I was offensive Coordinator in the FFMD fantasy draft BEFORE the real March trade for RG3.

I proposed and finalized a deal to the RAMS GM on our #6 pick, Barry Cofield & a 1st in the 2013 draft for the #2 pick which we selected Robert Griffin 3rd.

Some were ok with it, but many were really pissed!

How would grade my trade then, turtle?

(In comparison to what we REALLY gave up)

For some reason, I have a good feel for what Shanahan or Bruce Allen is thinking.
Maybe it's my playing or coaching experience?
Maybe it's my redskins knowledge of the team?
I have no idea there...

But I'm also good with numbers as well.

What I have proposed not only is a fair deal, but the deal makes sense as well.

You guys may not like it,for whatever reason.
But it is, what it is.....

btw..I also called the Brandon Merriweather signing

So hear me now Redskins fans...

We may keep K. Cousins because of RG3's uncertanty.....
Shanahan may not want to have a different QB with no experience behind RG3.
That it very possible, if not probable.

But main prediction is this and listen well Redskins fans....

OLB Brian Orakpo will be traded this 2013 season and will no longer be a Redskin.

You heard it here first, from Ace!

Shanahan & haslett will understand and agree...Just I do....
That brian Orakpo could net us some important players or possibly even draft picks & is expendable.

WHY?
Because Rob Jackson just took his job!!! (this is an alex smith/Kap comparison if there ever was one)

(damn I know my football...lol)
Amen brother!

Iam not arguing the team may trade Orakpo....I think he is better with his hand in the dirt and hes not great against the pass or the run...As I have said many time, I think it could bennifit Orakpo and us for him to play in a 4 3 defense!!!
Im arguing the trade for Revis!!!!! The trade you purposed will not happen

Just remember guys...
My proposed trade for Revis...
is just for fun.
THAT is not a prediction at all.

Just me finding a way to land Revis.

You guys are most likely right.
That we will not land Revis cause him wanting Albert haynesworth money.
We have been smart about not getting players all about the money.
As of late of course.

My 1 BIG prediction on the season however,is...

We will trade OLBer Brian Orakpo to some team for eitehr Players, Draft Picks or perhaps both.

My perspective and I'm betting the teams(Shanny and Haslett) is...
We can find a pass rusher with athleticism just like Orakpo in FA or in the later rds.
Who can only rush the passer...bat balls down...
and not have to pay, what Orakpo will command in 2014.

I do believe he will be dealt before the start of the 2013 regular season.
Possibly before draft day, as Shanahan may look to move up in the draft and may dangle Orakpo as trade bait.

We shall see...

But I think and believe we have seen the last of Brian Orakpo in the B&G, people.

Now Rob jackson is a restricted FA, so we can match any offer he may get from teams.

And...uh...we will matching.
All this dude does for us is make huge plays and covers that flat as good as any LBer in the game, people.

He ain't going anywhere.

look at this dues numbers in 14 starts!!

26 solo tackles (that will improve and needs too) 37 combined
4.5 sacks
6 pass deflections
4 INT's & 1 TD
2 forced fumbles

Besides the sacks & tackles...those numbers are better across the board, than any season Orakpo has had here in 4 seasons.

Who knows what he gets with 2 extra started games?

With another season under his belt playing?
This dude might be our pass coverage stud OLBer, while Kerrigan is our pass rusher.

And since we run the 3-4, you have to have at least 1 LBer that can cover the pass in this league.

Kerrigan had 8 pass deflections this yr in 16 games.

But what makes me believe that jackson & kerrigan should be starting and Orakpo is expendable is this...

"Forced turnovers"
Jackson and Kerrigan not only do their job, but they force turnovers. (INT's or fumbles)

Jackson just this year caused 6 turnovers, people....(caused 1 in 2010 somehow..lol)

Kerrigan caused 3 (had 5 last season) (total of Cool

Orakpo has caused 6 turnover in 4 seasons, people.

Think about that people...

Rob Jackson has caused more turnover in 1 season, than Orakpo has his entire 4 yr career as a Redskin.

And you tell me Orakpo is more valuable to us, than Rob Jackson?

No way..
No way

Rob Jackson should be our starter from now on, just from the game saving dallas Romo pick that won us the division title...lol

Just saying..

thats totally different. Why? Robert Griffin is not in this draft. Revis is injured and Tebow blows chunks compared to Cousins and Cousins doesn't bring an army of baggage with him.

You are proposing a trade using two of our good young players who are ultimate team players and bring no baggage for two guys who are more expensive and baggage in Revis and Tebow.

It's just a bad move all the way around and is totally different than the moves we did last year in ffmd. I remember that, I was heavily involved as well.

Well I'm telling you Orakpo is more valuable than Rob Jackson. Orakpo provides more pressure than any other player on the team which makes the rest of the defense look better. We need him back healthy to improve this defense. Rob Jackson had a good season, but his stats are from a very small sample size. He's never been consistantly great and even shared playing time this season with Lorenzo Alexander. If the coaching staff had thought we had found a long term replacement for Orakpo why wasn't Jackson on the field more?

Brian Orakpo, if healthy, is not going to be traded anytime soon. I would not trade him for Revis because a pass rusher is much more important than a corner, even argueably the best corner in the league. Good pass rushers make average secondaries look good. We should be building this team from the inside out, along the trenches first. Trading for an expensive injured cornerback doesn't help that plan.

Due to RG3's injury Kirk Cousins has become the most untouchable trade chip on the team. He will not go anywhere as he's possibly the starting QB for next season. Considering him part of any trade scenario just isn't realistic at all.

Finally, I'd like to add that I understand that it's probowl week and there's not a lot to talk about. But both topics that have been brought up in this thread are so ridiculous that they have no chance of ever happening. If you want to have an off the wall conversation for fun that's one thing but saying your knowledge about football is so vast that you can see obsurd trades coming is both aggravating and embarassing when other fans come in to read this.

Well, fans should offer up their own trade scenarios, before dumping on others who come up with them.

It makes the haters look even more foolish than they are when threads like this are bumped for crow eatin' when they come to fruitation & people like me more genius than I actually am if and when they come true.

I remember when the posters of the "Trade up for RG3" ideas were shot down, called stupid because the Redskins couldn't afford to trade so many picks or future picks for 1 player.

I remember when no QB was worth selling the future out for 1 guy, no matter how good he was.

I'm willing to bet those same people who said that, faced no backlash or scrutiny for calling those "Stupid" or an "idiot", only to have their words thrown back at them.

No...instead of participating or coming up with other ideas of possibilities, they would rather continue their quest of belittling those who do....

If I'm proven right, there should be a 10 page apology report pinned from the MODS, for all to sign in.

I'm betting that would be a day, with very little traffic around here.

If I'm wrong, I will gladly sign in & take my lumps.

Btw...you guys think my trade is bad?

I've seen Redskins fans proposing trading RB Affred Morris in trade ideas.
Including Revis trade ideas....

I've seen Kerrigan mentioned in these trade ideas...
(not here, but other places)

Now that, brother...
Is dumb..lol

Not a backup QB and a LBer about to be a FA in a season with an injury history now.

But I never post that it's stupid.
or their idea is bad...

I just read and think..."damn, that's just crazy" and move along.

There's nothing crazy about my trade proposal what-so-ever, imo.

I guess it's crazy if you guys think Orakpo and his Geico commercials is LT part 2.

I just don't see him in that same light, I guess.

I neither called you stupid or an idiot. I said this thread is absurd, aggravating and rather embarassing.

I'm not sure what I would trade for Revis. I personally haven't entertained the thought and I think you can tell by the reactions you are getting to your trade proposals that NO One in this forum is too interested in trading anyone on our current team. We like our team and don't want a selfish cb who's going to want to be the highest paid defensive player in the NFL before he steps foot on the field this year and he's coming off an acl injury.

Most redskins fans generally love this years team and want to see us make a few smart free agent signings, and then make smart selections in the 2013 draft. Not too many people are interested in making any trades for expensive vets who are trying to become the next Albert Haynesworth here as far as pay goes.

For those of you that want Revis, would you all be willing to go and play strictly man coverage because that's what he is a man cover corner?
Just a few other things I would like to point out. It makes no sense to trade for a guy you might just have for one year (you can't franchise tag him). Also it makes no sense to pay somebody 16 mil coming off a knee injury.
