Can't believe 6 players from the worst team in football have made the pro-bowl. Something tells me bad coaching, really bad coaching. _________________

The funny part is, most of them actually have a strong case to be there.
If anything, this shows the importance of the QB. _________________

Combination of that and just how badly poor QB play can kill a team. _________________ Geno Smith, Tavon Austin, Stedman Bailey, and Bruce Irvin will all have at least 1 pro bowl season each by the end of the decade.

If I could pick two big bounce back teams for 2013, it would be the Chiefs or the Browns. Those teams might have sucked, but they are talented. |

Does that mean I can make a thread about Beadles and Thomas making the Pro Bowl too?
FYI, no one cares about the Pro Bowl, and you shouldn't use it to judge talent. _________________

Exactly, how could you argue against Charles, Hali, Johnson, and Colquitt _________________

Hali had quite the down year tbh 9 sacks isnt horrible production but he was completely invisible in multiple games last season theres a few 4-3 olbs that could have easily made it over him (for last season) |

NFC O vs KC D almost. If the Broncos would've made the Super Bowl or someone drops out we'll have a CB as well there in Flowers. _________________

I think the NFL just wants the KC fan base to see another KC loss |

| What this shows is 2 things. As people have said it shows how horrible QB play can kill any team. But on top of that it was horrible coaching. the combination of quarterback play and coaching = 2-14. Having the 1st and 2nd pick every round this draft will help add even more talent. If they can get the QB position right it could be a very quick turnaround. The coaching will obviously be worlds better, especially on the offensive side of the ball. |

Make that 7 now I believe. Yeah, Crennel was a god awful coach and Cassel was the worst starting QB in the league last year, so that didn't help much either. Sure, Sanchez played terrible, but he didn't have Albert blocking his blindside, Charles to hand the ball off to, and Bowe as the primary WR.
About Crennel, the guy is old and his health was an issue. I think he is a good person, don't get me wrong, but I think as soon as he got that 3 year contract he became lazy and didn't care if he was fired because he got paid either way and it was likely his last job given his age and health issues. Just a terrible hire on Pioli's part. Reports were that Crennel would show up late to meetings among other things that show signs of laziness.
I expect most of the roster turnaround from the new regime to be the bottom 1/3 of the roster talent wise. This team needs depth more than anything (besides QB) _________________
