The Jets aren't going anywhere until they get a new offense and QB, who knows how many years that will take. _________________

How does our QB situation look any worse than it did when Rex took over? _________________

Three teams made such a leap in one year just this past season.
I know that is not the true standard, but quick turnarounds seem to be the trend lately. |

His confidence has gone from 100% to -10%, he looks like he's never played QB in his life.
Unfortunately for the Jets, everyone seemed to get old. The O-Line lost Faneca (I think) and Damien Woody, and Brandon Moore is on the steep decline.
Bart Scott, Calvin Pace, Kris Jenkins (obviously) all have added little to nothing to the defence having declined and/or retired. _________________

Everyone will roll their eyes but Vick makes them a playoff team if Revis is healthy. Last year was ugly but they aren't far away from 9-10 wins IMO. If they decide to blow it up and trade Revis I won't blame them. I think they've gotten the best from him. _________________

I have laughed at some of the crazy trade senarios that are being thrown around here but would this be a kick in the teeth or what if he ended up moving for something like this
Getting a qb who is no longer wanted by the team and will released if no trade can't be worked out and the last or second last pick in the second round... wow! _________________

If that went down I'd be even more furious than I would be if he was traded at a reasonable price. _________________

I would honestly have to say I'd be done with this team if we traded him for that. I'm not big on Alex Smith at all and we don't really have the right supporting cast for him here. Plus when Rex gets fired after this year, who knows if he will fit in the new coaches plans. And all you get to supplement that is a 2nd round pick? _________________

And probably the last pick in the 2nd round

If I'm SF I offer Smith and a 1st. _________________

With how late the 9ers are picking this year, and in the foreseeable future, it'd need to be a first this year, and a conditional second next year.
Alex Smith does nothing for the deal though. His cap hit is really high, and the Jets are stuck with Sanchez's contract for this year. |

I shudder to think what the 49ers could do on defense with Revis on the field. _________________

Tampa has the highest first round pick at 13 out of those three teams. We also have 2 - 4ths, ours and the Pats. _________________
