Reports say we are going after Jauron for DC. Not sure how I feel about him.

I'd be much happier with Jauron than I would have been with Ryan...

Glad we're not going with him. Looking at the number he has led defenses that were average performers. He had the one good defense in Oakland and this year the Cowboys were doing good then injuries killed them.

Saints fan here. Just wanted to say, I don't like Ryan and glad he isn't the new DC for my 2nd favorite team. Wink I hope the Saints dont go after him as most of us in our forum are pretty high on Jim Tomsula for the job. Myself included. Wink

Didn't know where else to put this but the Rams interviewed Mike Singletary to be their DC

Quote:
According to Jeremy Fowler of CBSSports.com, Singletary has interviewed for the defensive coordinator position in St. Louis.

Wow, must not like Jauron.

Title should be changed to simply Our DC search or something, as Ryan is not even in the running at this point.

I'm really starting to wonder where this will go. Could Fish just decide to stay in house? We have a lot of young talent on our defense with good position coaches. Seems like a good schemer could push us over the top.

Could Jeff be waiting to get a feel for Bush?

Singletary is interesting. I much prefer Jauron, but Singletary certainly makes a lot of sense for Jeff Fisher.

Fisher obviously wants to run his defense system and no one elses. How do you do that? Hire someone that has never play-called. Not my favorite candidate, but Singletary makes sense in that aspect.

He's a crazy mother [inappropriate/removed], Singletary is some real unstable coaching. I like it.
