Has all the makings of a Bill Belichick 'Second chance/Patriot Way' sort of signing. _________________

He may be a complete [inappropriate/removed], but as far as I know he's never had any legal issues. |

Me too, and I think it's going to happen. He might get a minimum contract somewhere, but I doubt it goes further than that.
This is a classic case of a team ignoring obvious character flags. |

There was A LOT OF buzz about how selfish and unreliable he was pre-draft. Sometimes that stuff is just speculation, but in this instance it was right on the money. _________________

I hope we keep him that way we can suspend him the whole year with no pay and he can sit at home and think about how awful he is. _________________ Kate Upton for sexy President!!!

He was suspended in college for conduct problems and had a history of run ins with the coach. There were red flags, Mayhew gambled and lost. Unfortunately its not the first time. _________________

He could go either way- long productive career or out of the league.
He's got undeniable talent, as long as he maintains that someone will give him a roster spot. If he even slightly slips talent/production wise or his behavior get worse he won't be able to find a job.
People have behaved much, much worse than Titus and stayed in the league for a long time. If you're good enough there's always a job available. |

I can see bagging groceries or working in the drive thru at McDonalds in his future if he keeps this up.
Why would someone want this person on their team? _________________

He was suspended once in college (sophmore season I believe) and had no issues after that. |

You know what, I loved Young going into the season and felt sure he'd have a breakout campaign. He looked good in his rookie season and was impressed with his speed and his hands. Instead, he sucker punched a teammate in preseason, was underproductive when he was playing, and then pulled basically the worst form of treason I've ever seen in the NFL. Now this? Yeah, I hope he never plays another down of football in his life.
He clearly has no concept of how much he's screwed up and has no remorse about it. He even had the nerve to tweet the other day something along the lines of 'to all the Detroit fans who are criticizing me now, everything was fine two days ago.' No, Titus, things were not just fine. How can he not realize that most of Detroit's fan base wanted him cut the day after that Green Bay game?
It's unbelievable. He's got a Terrell Owens ego, but a fraction of the talent. He's not even the #2 receiver on his own team and he's already mentally inducted himself into the Hall of Fame. What a joker. _________________

It was mentioned constantly leading up to the draft. Mike Mayock mentioned it almost every time he was on air talking about the draft "this is a top 15 talent with major red flags". _________________
