So I'm surprised nobody has already done this (well, OK maybe I'm not surprised since there wasn't exactly a lot of praise to go around this year) but how about your guy's picks for Team Awards? Here are mine:
Offensive Player- Carson Palmer (4018 yds 22 TD 14 INT 1 Rush TD)
Didnt exactly light it up, but he didnt have any competition. He had his share of struggles but he still had the biggest impact on our offense. Myers and Reece are the only other two who could have even been considered, and even then I dont think it is even close.
Defensive Player- Lamarr Houston (48 tkl, 19 asst, 4.5 sacks, 1 FF, 1 FR)
This was a tough choice, as nobody really stood out to me this year. Houston was far from great, but on a defense with no pass rushers, mediocre LBs and a depleted defensive backfield, Houston was one of the few bright spots. I almost picked Huff just because he had to switch positions and really filled a need for us in a dire time. I also considered Wheeler.
OROY- Rod Streater (39 rec 584 yds, 3 TD)
This was a no brainer. The UDFA rookie made lots of nice catches all year long and sometimes looked like our best WR despite his inexperience.
DROY- Miles Burris (62 tkl, 34 asst, 1.5 sacks, 1 INT)
Another easy choice, Burris had his rookie moments for sure, but he still showed up big for a 4th round pick.
Biggest Surprise- Brandon Myers (79 rec, 806 yards, 4 TD)
Garbage time or not, the guy exceeded my expectations by quite a large margin. For the most part he provided a reliable target for Palmer.
Biggest Disappointment- Darren McFadden (707 yds, 2 TD, 42 rec 258 yds, 1 TD)
Yes, yes, I know a ton of this can be put on the scheme and Knapp, but when choosing the most disappointing player there is no way you cant pick this guy. He almost had 1000 total yeards, but it took him a ton of touches to get it. He was a decent contributer in the pass game with the 3rd most catches, but he didnt do a whole lot with them, and did even less in the run game. _________________

Adams for DP over Houston
I know it's a reach but that kid has spunk. _________________ RIP Layne Staley. Your wings are no longer denied.

Can't disagree with any of the choices you made. It pretty much stayed the same as the guys who looked the best midseason.
If it were up to me, I'd make Wheeler Co-Defensive player. His play became inconsistent during the 2nd half of the season, but the 1st half was pretty solid in my opinion. I would be disappointed if we don't re-sign him.
Phillip Adams could also make a case for the 'Biggest Surprise'. He didn't get an opportunity until late in the season, but when he was on the field, he made plays & looked very promising. He might be a player to keep an eye on next year. _________________

Wheeler deserves a mention for defensive player. Houston played very well down the stretch though so that's what's gonna stick in our mind at this point. _________________ (MLB)=A's, (NFL)=Raiders, (NBA)= Warriors

I thought this was the start of our end of the year forum awards. I had completely forgotten about those. _________________ Bah-Weep-Granah-Weep-Nini-Bong

| I might be the minority but I think huff should get some consideration too. I mean he switched over to CB from safety during the season and he wasn't as bad during the final stretch. Really gotta hand it to that dude. |

Spunk over production? Not even close. Houston in a landslide if its between the two of them. Adams didn't even play the whole season as a major contributor. _________________
