This was a topic years ago in college and I'd like to revisit it.

Bryant seemed as if he'd won this "competition" rather easily based off if their pro careers. He was making explosive, big time plays. He has also dropped more than his fair share of balls. Crabtree on the other hand seemed destined to be nothing more than a possession receiver until the switch was made. He seems like the guy we all thought he would be coming out of Tech.

Who's better? Who would you want moving forward?

I like Dez's explosiveness, so i choose him. Dez is a game changer, crabtree is more reliable.

Dez for me.

Dez and it's not close. Crabtree has turned into a very nice target, but Dez seems to be headed toward that elite tier. Crabtree just doesn't have the raw ability.

Dez and it's not close to me. On another level athletically.

Ugh. I hate that I'm being forced to pick Dez over anyone.

It's really not even close, or I'd find a way to pick Crabtree.

I wanted the 9ers to take Dez in the 2010 draft but they picked Iupati instead. It was a good move but having Dez and Crabtree would have been cool. With that said I would rather have Dez. I always preferred him.

This isn't even a debate. Crabtree isn't even on Dez's planet. Just better in every facet of the game. Crabtree MIGHT be a better route-runner but that's where it ends. Bryant is just 5x more explosive.

I never like saying player A is "hands down" better than player B, but I feel that way about this comparison.

I'm a big Dez Bryant fan and I think he is definitely a better player than Crabtree. Crabtree does have very reliable hands, but he doesn't have near the playmaking ability of Dez Bryant.

Bryant's speed, strength, body control, and his ability to make the highlight reel catch really catapult him into a top 5 receiver in my eyes.

Really wanted to make an argument for Crabs but I can't. Bryant has been the better WR.

As of now it has to be Dez, like everyone's already said. If Crabs can maintain his level of recent play for another 2 or 3 years and it definitely gets a bit closer.

Big Red is better vs the run but Crabtree has better hands and runs better.

I voted Dez. I will admit that I am a Cowboys fan. I am also a Longhorn fan (still upset about those whiffed tackles on that Crabtree catch). However, those biases aside, Dez has shown more expolosiveness and appears to have a much higher ceiling at this point in time. If Crabs can keep his rapport with Kaep then he might close the gap a bit, but right now I feel that it is significant.
