Coming in at the middle of the conversation....
Lots of mistakes opinions are in line with mine here... Although his tact can be as smooth as mine at times. Haha.
As for me...
Our DL is set. Trading Hughes, as seems to be mentioned a lot is counterproductive. IF anyone could be shopped it would be Rucker, but absolutely no need - just if a good offer cam e along that allowed us to replace him with a younger talented player.
Our ILBs are set... If anything we have too many talented young iLBs. Some are going to get lost in the translation. Robertson, fort, and carder, and yes Acho all might have potential but we can't keep this many... If we can move two for late round pick or for depth at another position that would be good.
Our OLBs are in need. We have some younger potential in Adams and Hall but we need more help... At least one starter maybe from FA, or if someone from the draft we will want a veteran behind him....
-- the above brings me back to my idea on keeping Gocong at OLB as all around edge player. We can still sign a FA and move him back inside if we want or draft an edge rusher that is weaker against the run but better attacking the passer and rotate him and Gocong... Lots of opportunties here that give us more flexibility.
But regardless of the above, if we don't fix CB and FS we are screwed on defense....
We can't skip FA of course... We need to fill holes with the best players we can... We just need a little patience, as the initial rosters are just being finalized today!.

I looked at which players that sportrac site that rotoworld didn't... But I didn't look to see who it was missing either... If someone has some spare time to fully cross references those two that might be a good idea.
I might get to it later if someone else doesn't check it first.

I haven't touched the cap stuff. I'm pretty sure EZ has all of that. Send him a PM if you haven't already (because I'm sure he doesn't have enough PM's  ).

The only way I would move Hughes is if we can get a good OLB, CB, or FS. And by good I mean young already starting caliber

nug, if you want me to double check any cap info for the players let me know.
Roster...
Rotoworld and sportrac differ in our roster on the following people...
Sportrac has Stanley Daniels, OG, as a 2013 FA
Sportrac has Solomon Elimimian, LB, on the roster for 2013/14 for 2 yr/$900,000
Rotoworld has Austin English, DE/LB as a 2013 ERFA
Do we want to keep Daneils or English? I dont think so... no harm no foul?
Is Elimimian going to cause a cap hit when cutting him? If so, since rotoworld doesnt list him we should fight to get him removed from the official roster....

I was gonna throw that into my own excel document that i can update with every move.
If you want to sort through it now and get it to me with the updated moves, i would be very grateful.

Colt McCoy - 2.325M
Usama Young - 2.15M (I think the list is wrong on this one, according to the spreadsheet it would COST us an extra 9k in cap space to cut him)
Oniel Cousins - 725K
Owen Marecic - 423K
Brian Sanford - 630K
Adrian Moten - 555K
Emmanuel Acho - 440K (Still would like to hold onto him until later in the cuts process)
Prince Miller, L.J. Fort, Jarrod Shaw, Hall Davis - 480K
Kendrick Adams, Kent Richardson, Solomon Elimimian - 405K

That official roster lists LB Elimiman... if its going to cost a cap hit to get rid of him we may want to dispute this...
That official roster does not list OG Dominic Alford, who signed a futures contract... probably not a big deal at all since are are okay at OG depth.
LB/DE English and OG Daniels are not on the list so both are most likely listed as FAs which is fine.
